I was thinking, if I had to bug out what spydercos would I carry and what would I leave behind? What would you take?

Delica is a better edc blade. The endura has a better reach for SD.

Have you tried the stretch 2?

Is it legal to carry a manbug in Japan?

I'm also amazed how fast the cento 3 blade is compared to my delica FFG.

After owning the centofante 3 for over 5 years I started edc ing it and love it. Just wondering if anyone else edc it. I'm an office worker so it's not as "scary" as my stretch 2.

After watching his vids I feel I'm more prepared. I don't agree with everything he says, but he is entertaining and the quality of his videos is great. Sal you can thank him for giving me the spyder-bite. Before I watched his videos I carried a delica 3, my endura was my hiking/"survival" ...

Is the steel in the byrd series the same as spyderco tenaciuos series? I live in Hawaii, so rust resistence is a concern. Vg-10 has performed but the Byrd series and tenacious series interest me in both looks and price.

I swithed recently to tip down carry. I have short fingers and it's easier to deploy the blade by pivoting the knife against the body and using the clip to index my hand on the blade. But I use lock back blades like enduras, delicas, stretch, so they do not shake out easily.

Is the rust resistance on the byrd knives equal to aus-8 steel spyderco used to use on their older knives?

I had a chance to buy the Lava but it felt too heavy. If it came in a FRN handle I'd buy it!

I've owned delicas since the mid 1990's. I could never get a constant flick until I switched my clip to tip down carry. Will we see more 3.5" knife designs coming out of Co.? After carrying the stretch2 for a while it seems like the ideal size for SD & EDC.

Stretch 2, vg-10 black blade. Keep it simple. I'm looking for a reason to by another one!
