Re: [Legal concern] Please use blade lengths like 2.45" / 2.95" / 3.45" instead of 2.5" / 3" / 3.5"
The great thing with Spydercos is there is so many blade lengths. Old school rule of better to be safe than sorry 3" law carry a 2.5" 2.5" law carry a 2" Last thing a busy law enforcement officer would enjoy is someone with a knife protesting over 1/20 of a inch ;) Last last thin...

Aussie brand made out of Kangaroo leather. Last pair I had lasted 23 years with a few resoles.
Great deal if buying in US $
Worth the money.

Cleaned hundreds of stones over 30 years in the meat game, (Butcher) Soak in sink with a double amount of dish washing liquid and a quick hit with a pressure washer the following day ( one of those "Karcher" yellow electric ones - wouldn't use a high pressure petrol one ) allways do pressu...

Re: Golden Age of Factory Knives?
The golden age for knives was the 50s to the late 70s The changes in steels and types of steels during and after WW2 led to a revolution in designs and upscale in production that made knives more affordable. Being a butcher that has used so many knives and worn out a few over the last 30 years. Noth...

Re: EU Vacuum Cleaner Ban: Smart, Ridiculous, or what?
Think it's to do with the cheap Chinese vacuums, power tools, generators , and whatever has flooded the cheap market. Do a lot of camping and in days gone past it was rare to see one generator at a camp site. Nowdays you can buy them as cheap as chips and everyone has one. The cheaper ones are twice...

Re: Spyderco Blade Centering and Trying to Be Zen About It
As above have had centered knives drift and had non centered knives come good after use. At the Spyderco price point I don't notice or worry. ( but at the CRK prices I would be a bit more annoyed but luckily have never had to worry ) Buy a fixed blade if you want to never worry about centering again.

Re: How do you justify your next Spydie purchase?
Quite easy! I’ve stopped eating but not completely because I still eat what people leave behind at the local McDonalds and the staff know me now and I get a few freebies. I don’t buy clothes any more but we live in an affluent part of Sydney and there are many quality garments hanging on nearby clo...

Re: Para 3 and CQI
Love the size compared to the 2, Don't know why the clip is a issue for people when you can move it to the other end and have no lanyard hole in the way. It's asking to change something that already has a solution. (Several as its 4 way carry) Don't get me started on lanyards on folders..............

The Pingo Bought it due to travelling a lot and heading to Europe. The amount of times I have used it from cutting stuff to buttering a sandwich in a remote part of Northern Australia. Even used it ( back of blade closed ) to open a military pressure box the other day that I couldn't of done with ot...
