Re: Military 2; Knife of the Year
For me the linerlock on Military used to be a hotspot. In tight grip it dig inside my finger joint. And the very corner of the liner next to the blade was very sharp to. Never had that kind of problem with comp lock as a hotspot. On several Spydercos. What I dont like about the Mili 2 is the slim “n...

Re: Bradley 2 or Native Chief??
Bradley 2 has the most beautiful blade of all, for me. The tip is not delicate, hollow grind, very thin behind the edge, like the swedge on it and how the grind lines are executed. Main hollow part is top to bottom, flat part is horizontal and swedge is at 45 degree. Awsome precision and attention t...

Re: Mini-Spydercos - Perfect Application
My first Spyderco was Ladybug Hawkbill Salt, back in 2011. Sold and bouhgt over 20 other Spydies since. Including Hap 40 LB, Spin and Manbug Wharncliffe. This one I like to keep. Awsome little cutter, put a pocket clip for carry. Live in the city and Manbug can handle 90% of my cutting. Letter opene...

Re: Manix 2 Rockscale Skinny scales
I like that with this mod you don't have the jimping all over the knife. That was one of the things, I don't like on M2. Used to have first Manix backlock and it was so much comfortable with smooth liners. Slightly short spring and ceramic ball hepled with action on mine.

Re: Problems with k390 Spyderco knives
My Endura K390 has one of the best grind from factory. Symetrical, under 15dps, 0,02" BTE. Wonderful slicer, awsome steel, very happy with it. Put a micarta scales on it and titanium Salt clip. Nonstop in my pocket for seven months.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
that is without a doubt the best looking stretch i've ever seen. I'm quite enamored of it - I don't think I've ever owned a more comfortable pocket knife. Scales from @Suingab. I admire his work for years. Like the clean look. Nice smooth round edges. Micarta is great for knives and especially with...

Re: Brittle clips on Salt models?
AFAIK all salt clips are titanium and titanium don't like to be bending back and forth too much. Just like Darby said. If your bent it 90 deg. in both ways more than once, it used to break😥 Personaly, I like Spyderco titanium hourglass clips. They have the "right " spring feel to me. Not t...

Re: New k390 endura is smooth
My Endura K390 is also very nice in F&F. What I like even more its sub 15 DPS from factory. One of the best slicers I had. Up there with Gayle Bradleys. GB1/GB2, Air. K390 keeps that edge long time and still easy to refresh. Trying medium rods lately, thanks to Vivi and like the agression of it....

You are a mad genius. In the best way. Making one "soft" steel, performe like some top tier stuff. Unbeliveble. You are the part of what makes this forum such a great place. Thank you. Now I have to get me some plain edge H1

Re: SMKW Spyderco Exclusive?
My guess is something with white scales. Those are rare, and Eric looks excited too. Like the idea of White Walker, that makes sense with the GOT theme. Also a Wolfspyder would fit the theme. Its a sigil of the Starks and Winter is coming are their words.

Re: What are your top 5 favorite steels?
K390 is mine curent favourite steel. It is hard, great edge retention, very good toughness and still easy to strop scary sharp. I mean realy sharp. Never get that kind of edge on S110V steel. Not even close and edge holding is similiar if not better on K390. Only downside for some its not stainless....

Re: High Performance Delica Excitement
Diference between VG10 and K390 is in edge retention. If geometry is the same they will cut both very good, but K390 much, much longer. You probably never tried Centofante, but is 2mm stock and 0.3mm ( 0.11") behind the edge. One od the best slicers Spyderco makes. I just doubt, that 2.5mm Deli...
