What geometry did this blade come with? What geometry does everyone plan on starting with?

Re: S90V DLC Yojimbo 2 (coyote brown) Exclusive
What are the odds this will be a collector? Justin If you put it away it's a collector piece. You have a better chance of being struck by lightning than owning one of these knives. They can always run this knife again because it's a dealer run. Some dealers have sold out of a product and done just ...

Re: Now's the time: For a New Hawkbill!!!
I definitely dont know everything about spyderco knives. I am also positive you have a better idea of what your talking about than I do JD Spydo. I am just using my small amount of experience and data from the website. Here is my logic as to how those two knives are similar in size. From spyderco.co...

I'd love to see a hawkbill with an index finger choil. -Bryan I've had a Byrd "Hawkbill" on the bench for a couple weeks now. It has a finger choil and I find myself reaching for it more and more often. I think the Choil has something do with that. Maybe thats part of the ergos I like so ...

Re: Now's the time: For a New Hawkbill!!!
PM 2, spyderhawk blade, lc200n se, nuclear yellow g10 scales. I'd buy one. OK let me get this straight>> you would buy a Hawkbill made in the same style as the PM 2 with a blade configurated the same as a Spyderhawk in the PM 2 size/scale of course with a nuclear yellow handle and G-10 handle/scale...

Re: Factory knew and two different angles on the edge
My sage 2 was way off like yours. Not just uneven, but different angles on each side. I just reprofiled. Everything else about the knife was awesome.

Re: Military geometry suggestions
After a 40 minute breakdown and fluff'n'buff everything is right in my world again. I was pleased to see spyderco made an attempt to polish the surface where the liner bearing rides. Of course I had to enhance all bearing surfaces to mirror shine. I did notice one little burr where the flat spot in ...

Re: Military geometry suggestions
Thanks for the responses. It came in the mail today and it's a beast. I was fairly happy with the factory edge. It push cuts paper with ease. I think I'm going to leave the factory angle for a while and see how I like it. At least until it needs sharpening. My only complaint is the drag from the lin...

Military geometry suggestions
Im receiving a Military cts-204p in the mail today. This will be my first military and my first knife in 204p. Im taking suggestions on what blade geometry I should use. It will be an edc knife that mostly cuts material softer than wood. Think food, paper, packaging, cardboard, ect. I was thinking 1...

Re: Maxamet toughness
Thanks Sal. I've carried a centofante for many years. It was a great knife. Now it resides in my backpack and a sage 2 in my wallet. Accidentally bought a fake pm 2, but fell in love with that form factor. I plan on replacing it, but I'm going to try out a 204p Millie first. Once i hells the pm2 I k...

Maxamet toughness
What kind of real world toughness can I expect from this steel? I'm buying two pm2 for gifts, but I am concerned with chipping and blade deformation.

Re: The SPYDERENCH? A True Hidden Treasue
It's been a while since I've heard anyone say anything about the SPYDERENCH. For all you new folks it was Spyderco's extremely unique multi-tool that they sold during two different time periods. It was/is anything but conventional and it was not like any other multi-tool I've ever encountered. I st...

I think I have missed the boat here, why is there such a general consensus to keep H1 SE? Why not make lc200n SE and PE for salt series?

Re: Paramilitary 2 Sprint Run... CPM20CV please!
Yes I'd love to see LC200N. Bright yellow g10 please! Yes, make mine SE please. The Mule Team 23 in CPM20CV is a great sign of things to come in Spyderco's lineup. If this steel made it's way to the PM2 platform... Some shade of red would be a cool color for the G10. and Yes. Especially since I mis...
