Re: A resurrected lower cost One-Eyed Jack, please
Yes! As would many I suspect. I didn’t know what a great knife it is until I got one. Keep the Barr design, and the bolsters. I love the ivory G10 too. I removed the clip from mine, added a simple fob and pocket carried it. The feel is so much better without the clip. I agree. I would be interested...

Re: S110V Para3 LW?
I think it is almost certain we will see a blue 110v variant of the Para3 LW eventually since it seems like every other popular Golden model gets the treatment. That is likely the one I will buy.

Re: Exclusive Re-runs: has this ever happened?
As mentioned, it has definitely been done before. I assume it depends on whether the dealer is willing to take a risk on not selling out a 2nd or 3rd run due to hype dying down by the time it can be produced. KnifeWorks for example has had a couple exclusives that they sat on for a very long time an...

Re: St. Nicks Knives Exclusive hint - Lil Native?
Wow. I'm impressed with their web site. I had no problem refreshing and watching the stock number dwindle in real time. I wish more dealers would be that upfront with the inventory status as it's nice to have it available. Where do you see the quantity in stock? It just says "out of stock"...

Re: Bento Box M390 PM2 Re-Release on July 19th
I think it's so weird that there's this one outlier with such a different approach to reselling sprint runs. EDIT: But the existence and success of BBS's strategy suggests that the other retailers are doing something wrong. The others are selling them off fast, at prices that let the secondary mark...

Re: SpydieChef Stock
With the advent of all these YouTube and social media "influencers", I think Spyderco is more popular than they've ever been before and Spyderco wasn't prepared for their products flying off the shelves so fast. Yep, only an insider can see the actual numbers to prove it, but from my view...

Re: Return shipping fee - cumbersome to apply from abroad
It looks like the current Spyderco Online Store doesn't accept PayPal, and I assume maybe they have their reasons for that as many other vendors also do not. (Some don't like the fees, some don't like the policies, etc.) That said, I do always appreciate when vendors DO accept PayPal as a means of p...

I like the lock. BIg fan of the Manix, but I'd also like to see an option that carries a little smaller/slimmer in pocket. Due to the nature of the lock, though, that might be tough to do.

Re: BladeHQ DLC natural G10 Yojimbo 2
My guess would be on the Shaman DLC based on the demand of the non-DLC.steelcity16 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 10:41 amSold out. What's next? Shaman DLC? Then maybe a Manix XL? Lil Native Comp Lock? Native LW with translucent Jade FRCP?
Safe bet that if they keep selling like crazy, they'll keep making them.

Re: Spydiechef discontinued
I seriously doubt that since they just did a CQI update on it not long ago and it sells out immediately whenever it's in stock. I'm guessing they just messed up their inventory at KW and couldn't fill the order, especially since I know they're moving their warehouse according to their newsletter.

Re: New to Spyderco - Wife will be in Taiwan
This would be an interesting topic for Sal to chime in on since I'm curious about whether Spyderco actually sells a lot of knives domestically in Japan or Taiwan, of if the majority of the knives manufactured in those markets are actually just exported and sold elsewhere. Off topic, one thing I do k...

Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but AFAIK BHQ has never done a rerun of any of there jade exclusives..in fact most of email notices I get from then regarding the exclusives point out that its a one time one and done deal..no more will be made. I believe that is correct. I think BHQ treats their &qu...

Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive
...From the sellers point of view, I guess they don't care how or to who they get sold, as long as they get sold promptly. I can sort of understand that given they have to front the money to buy the whole lot -- but a limit of 2 or even 1 per buyer would go a long way towards customer goodwill. DLT...

Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive
The "instagram era" is definitely a blessing and a curse for all sorts of enthusiast hobbies. On the one hand, it's great to have the social media hype machine to create the demand that makes all these exclusive / LE items commercially viable in the first place, but the flip side is that i...
