My K390 Endura did the same, when I was sweating. It was easy to remove with eraser.

Native Chief Rex45 is instant classic IMHO. Same class as micarta Shamans or M4 / M390 Millitaries. If I don't have my K390 Endura, wich I love, use and carry all the time, I would try to grab one too.

Very nice. I think a Native Chief in micarta with round corners and some tool steel will be a must buy to me.

If you want some higher end steel, maybe You should consider something from the K390 line-up. Endela for example is the middle size, but there is a lot to choose from Ladybug to Endura. Maybe they can tell the right version by date code on the box, or some models have date on the blade near pivot.

Endura K390 on me since it came on monday. I think it will stay this way Start some patina from use, so far the steel keeps amaze me Even thou I used to carry S110V more than two years.

Sharpening skill is must for every knife user. I think that You are lucky its K390 steel. Many other steel would be damaged much, much more.
