Depends on the design of the blade; how much distal taper, how much belly, how even the blade grind is, etc. Many knives get either thicker or thinner as the grind approaches the tip. As much as i love Cruwear (i have the G10/Cruwear Stretch XL) I would advocate for Magnacut. Would make a very tough, stain resistant, easy to sharpen lightweight pocket sword. We have many models available in k390 and no longer blade models in MC. A Stretch XL in Magnacut would be such a Goldilocks...
