Ledheded, easier to show than explain. Mine is a LH one, not sure if it would be on same or opposite side on a RH one, but you can see the torx screw pivot pin pretty clearly in the picture. <img src="http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-9/378550/cf_delica.jpg" width=552 height=174> Paul

My thoughts and prayers will be with your family Jeff.

Strange how every time I start letting my little aches and pains get me down, something like this comes along to show me how insignificant they are, compared with the trials some must face.

Thanks Mark. Thought it might be something like that, and, in that sense he was successful in getting me to look anyway. The one picture of the case, with what to my lousy old eyes appears to be "Spy" followed by a bunch of other letters printed or embroidered on it, in a typeface very sim...

I have one of the almite ones in PE, find it very nice but quite slippery and thus harder for me to open than some of the other similar size Spydercos. Have as yet been unable to get my hands on one of the G10 ones in PE, imagine that would solve the slipperyness issue nicely. I am anxiously looking...

Hi David, the black micarta full size is the standard C34 Jess Horn II. The only catalog I have showing it is the '98, and in that one it is shown in both SpyderEdge, like yours, and plain edge, like the one I have, both with the hollow grind you mention. It may have been offered in 50/50 at one tim...

Great stuff for what its good for, will take tar, tile adhesive, tree sap, and a host of other sticky garbage off a blade better than just about anything else. Great for drying out and waterproofing worn out spark plug cables long enough to get you home on a rainy day. Passable after-run spray for m...

Java, feedback was left as soon as I could bear to put the knife down for a minute. My biggest complaint with eBay is that its so hard to reward truly excellent service. The expectation there is that anything shy of out and out fraud calls for a positive, so a postive becomes much less meaningfull t...

On a brighter eBay note...

Just received a flawless burgundy micarta flat grind AG Russell Special C34 Jess Horn which I won in an eBay auction this past Sunday. The seller, a lady whose eBay name is "antiquerita", has to be the one of the nicest people selling there. Her auction description was clear, concise, and ...

Ok Chad, held off on answering this one for a day, gave it plenty of thoughts, still can't think of any task I normally perform with a knife where serrations, no matter where located on the blade, would be of real value to me and think putting them in the middle would just make sharpening a nightmar...

Allen, considering that it's a UK site, I think those prices are most likely to be in GBP. From what I've seen, they pay a fairly outrageous duty on US knives, so their prices are going to be relatively high by our standards. Joe, the owner of that outfit, posts frequently on the BritishBlades forum...

Would love Spyderco to drill & tap all 3 screw clip models for LH/RH use. Four way would be even better (LH/RH TD/TU). Then supply (or at least make available from factory) sets of headless set screws, to fill in the excess holes. Black nylon and ss versions of these screws are available for oth...

Not with the Calypso Jr, not yet anyway, but only because I do have a black one too. Do have two PE Natives and two BM Jesters, not as safe queens, but as instant replacement if I ever lose or damage the regular one.

I guess the critical factor would be; does H-1 retain the flexibility necessary for a fillet knife at the hardness needed for reasonable edge retention? If so, then yes, it would be a natural for both a new Spyderco FB fillet knife and an "upgrade" to the Catcherman. Might also be a good c...

Very nice job Ted. That page will come in very handy. Thank you very much for putting all that work into it. I did notice the size of the C27 Horn is off a hair, it is actually 6" OAL according to both the '98 dealer catalog and my ruler.

The only "user serviceable" possibility is gunk in the notch in the blade that the lockbar drops into. With that in mind, if you have not already done so, you might want to try washing the knife out. Hot water, detergent, turn the faucet on full blast and really "hose" it out. St...
