Michael Walker and Howard Viele have already been mentioned and those are a couple of my favorites but I'd also like to see the Jerry Hossom fixed blades make another run. Just too pricey for my blood on the secondary.

I've got the Brita unit that goes on the faucet and it works well.
I've seen a few complaints about leakage (it's the internet, who's going to log in to rave about their cheap faucet filter not leaking?) but mine works great and the filters seem to last forever. YMMV

Starmate is a good sized beefy blade. It uses Teflon washers, edges are a little uncomfortable, the lanyard tube rattles and the sharpening notch is unfinished and rough. I liked the Teflon washers so that's no issue and the other 3 listed I remedied myself. It's a nice carry just wish the new model...

I wouldn't. Soulds like to me someone is just trying to make a BIG profit. But if your financial situation is one that if you dropped $200 and lost it you wouldn't care, get the tool. It is a good tool. They sold for $70 or $80 if I remember correctly. That's not cheap IMO but I've had the tool for...
