The sharpest, strongest, most durable knife on the planet
That is a pretty tall claim. I especially like the "nano serrations" which appears to be a macro picture of the edge grind. Also check out the metal alloy matrix edge bonded to a high quality steel blank of 2cr14N. Isn't 2cr14 akin to the steel used on knives like those found packed in tho...

Re: $300 Taiwan Spyderco?
If you think the Subvert is pricey (it is) take a look at the Paysan. https://www.knifecenter.com/item/SP238TIP/spyderco-c238tip-rassenti-paysan-folding-knife-s90v-stonewashed-plain-blade-integral-titanium-handle *Spits drink out of mouth and nose* WOH... $300 Taiwan Spyderco?
Couldn't help but notice this Spyderco Subvert showing a MSRP of $470, with BladeHQ price of over $300. For a Taiwan made G10 scaled S30V liner lock?
Am I missing something here? Seems... Pricey.

Re: Sprint Runs and the Abysmal Aftermarket.
I find it tedious to lose a particular design as a user, because the value makes it Ludacris to continue to use. The best, most saught after sprints should have a color variation or something done then made in regular production so they can be used not locked away. The Lum tanto is a good example. W...

Re: BHQ with a hap40 Lum Tanto exclusive?
Been on the forums for a long time, and Spyderco has been a daily part of my life for 30 years now. I had the 1st Lum and carried it every single day for a decade. The value on my original plain edge black handle Lum got so high, I eventually retired it and sold it. Sal has always said the original ...

Re: Lum Tanto sprint handle material change
If that is the case, theres only 600 paperstone Lum sprint units in existence. Potentially this could become a very rare and sought after piece.

Lum Tanto sprint handle material change
I was interested in learning how many units were made of the Lum fixed blade sprint in total per handle material. I believe it was supposed to be 600 knife run total, however, the G10 version details state only 600 will be made. What we know is Spyderco started the sprint run with paperstone, then s...

I've been opening beer bottles with my Spyderco's for 15 years. It's simple! You guys can open beer bottles with all of your spydercos, wedge or not. Exactly like this video, except use the bump in the spine right above the spyder hole in place of the lighter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvgZGqB8...

I've seen maybe a handful of his reviews at some point and thought they were good. I get where you guys are about the price, but no harm done. He's gotta make an income like everyone else, and his name is obviously becoming established. Good for him. He has good taste in lanyards, I have that one to...

I wonder how many newborns will Sal hear about after reading this? :D I was thinking that when I posted the story. I didn't want to cause Sal and co. issues with beggars, but this is the type of corporate culture that people need to hear about. I've carried my original C46 a few times for the first...

A personal thank you to Mr. Sal Glesser
For many years I've expressed my adoration for the Lum folding tanto, sometimes in the form of forum requests for a sprint run. Sal himself has commented in at least one of the requests. Fast forward to recently, Spyderco makes my wish come true. I pass through from time to time and notice the sprin...

New Endura VS Lum Folding Tanto
Ready to reissue the Lum folding tanto and the fixed blade? I've been waiting for years, I can't take it anymore! In the meantime, I bought the new Endura. Excellent focus on upgrading the model. The blunted profile of the tip, take-down ability, and nested liners; perfect! If it had a liner lock it...
