Merino is great - I wear long johns and long sleeve tops skiing and snow camping, and more generally around town when the temperatures really dip ... never niffs .. it's amazing Gave that bamboo stuff a go ... not entirely delighted with it, but it is better than some other synthetics .. bit heavy H...

Nothing against FRN at all - in fact I like it and have a D'fly and a coupe of Delica4s What I'd like to see is the Caly3.5 as sprint runs in a few shades of G10 and a few other steels. I have the supendously good VG10 version, but the SuperBlue doesn't really appeal I can imagine myself actually cr...

Yes, both in VG10 or that 690 stuff :) I am leakingloot at the moment with new designs appearing .. now the manix and the calypso jr are making a come back. How is a person supposed to afford a week in the sun?

Someone mentioned this elsewhere. The N5 is the mini manix

The Urban has some shared characteristics with the Dfly, but it is a slippie

It's the wear that makes a coated blade so handsome - no babying it :) Looking forward to picking up a black coated Para2 soon I wonder if we will be able to look forward to different coloured coatings on Spyderco's knives in the future? I guess a camo finish would be the most obvious, but a nice ru...

Just dropped some loot on a Caly 3.5 - so I have been trawling the reviews.

Just a note to say that it is the G10/VG10 combo that makes the Calys so good.

The CF/ZDP one I have is nice, but not so companionable (seems to be catching looks at itself in the mirror a lot of the time :lol :)

straight up, you'll be happy with the size in two days I cored apples for the kids with mine just last week - that's as detailed as I get - I also rehung an old door using just that and a Victorinox SwissTool - much filleting, planing and reshaping required - millie did it all - needed sharpening ha...
