I have a C25 plain edge which i had to clean out (I think)an overflow of thread locking fluid. It stopped the sliding lock from moving.Works fine now.

Thanks Everybody.Below is a copy of the last info he added.Seems he only lives 25 miles from the plant. Just as an aside, the book is replete with misinformation- awash with it; according to those that would know the history from living it. Just from my own perspective, it is a puff piece for them; ...

Spyderco Lies ?

Well thats the inferred opinion from a news group reply. Are the U.S. made Spyderco knives made in the Spyderco factory at Golden? Are Spyderco knives made in Taiwan assembled in Japan and then marketed in the U.S.? >"They >really *do* very little except process >customs and drop ship stuff.&qu...

Here's my thoughts and why. #50 Police model necklace. Make way for a new miniature Spyderco model each year or different inlays. #51 police tie clip.Same reasons as above. #1 Police model stainless steel. I prefer G10 for grip. #17 Snap it. The remote release is a much better hook type retainer.May...

As a fellow collector I prefer the plain edge knives to collect.I find the combo edge better for use.I carry a serrated Military and a plain edge Native.
But the plain edge knives look better (I think anyways).

Just an idea ....

Any chance Spyderco might make a fixed blade kneck knife.

Say a small all stainless blade and handle in a moulded sheath.

Plenty of other companies have made them but I think Spyderco could make the best one.

Parents are the best judge of whether a person should own a knife.Let alone a particular knife.Try educating her on the safety aspects of the knife compared to a SAK.Then let her decide. The knife must complete the tasks required and I think a folder with a locking blade is better for those inexperi...
