Received mine this morning. They are very nice! The inlay is much better in person. As stated above, if you are on the fence, go for it.

Has anyone gotten any usage data ro report back on this 4v? I have started carrying it this week and I am curious what kind of edge retention, actual hardness, response to sharpening etc., that you guys are seeing.

This is a great model. Spyderco did an amazing job on the HT as well. I can tell a difference between s90v and s110v. The s90v seems to take a hair whittling edge easier, and restores easier with stropping in between sharpening sessions, than s110v It has become one of my favorite steels since acqui...

Not to keep going down the DLC subject path alone, but it does help protect steel from corrosion in addition to the anti reflective property. This is per Spyderco's own literature with the DLC m4 PM2.

The hesitation on the Shaman probably has to do with price. I wonder how the sales are actually going? That said, the Lum Tanto was expensive and it sold well. I believe the price is the primary issue with the current s30v model. However based on statements from many people, I believe a sprint / ex...

I wonder how far out a Shaman sprint / exclusive is? I suppose first of 2019 would be soonest, unless an exclusive can be done before a sprint??
