Re: Para 3 LW and G-10 blades interchangeable?
I have swapped my Rex 45 LW blade with a M390 G10 version with no issues at all. Several others have also swapped blades successfully.

Re: Lil Native Clip Problem - Unusable, Help!
My s90v lil native also has an extremely tight pocket clip, it has no give in it whatsoever. I might try the cardboard trick to see if it improves.

Re: Small knife with satisfying action
I think the two smallest knives that would be what you are looking for are the lil native or the sage 5.

Re: Requesting Sage 5 in Other Steels
I would definitely want to see the sage 5 offered in more steels and handle materials. My favorite knife is the para 3 and the sage 5 offers many similar features. I don’t think spyderco has to follow any rules for the sage series since they already broke it with the sage 5 lw and the sage 1 maxamet.

Re: KnifeJoy Exclusive PM2 - Green G10/DLC 20CV Steel
Another boring PM2 in another boring M390/20CV/204P variant. It's a pass for me but I'm sure it will please the PM2 collectors.

Re: A question to Mr. Glesser about "the Maxamet situation"
Far as I'm aware, the Paramilitary 2, Para 3, Manix Lightweight, and Native are all available with Maxamet currently in addition to the Sage (although finding them in stock might be an issue, haven't checked myself in a while). I see that you're in Europe, so availability there is likely different ...

Re: Lil’ Native LW
I would also prefer to see a Lil Native LW use the compression lock first. Compression lock FRN with BD1N, similar to the Para 3 LW. Though with that said, I think a Backlock Lil Native LW would make a good Salt model and would slot right into catalog next to the Native 5 Salt. ;) I wonder if each ...

Re: Lil’ Native LW
I am really enjoying my lil' native s90v sprint but I don't think I would be interested in a lightweight version. I prefer the feel and texture of carbon fiber or G10 over FRN. Also the lil' native is plenty light already as it is. The main benefit of a LW version would be cost. I'm all for having a...

Re: Blade HQ Para 3 LW in M4
I prefer the PM2, but the PM3 is perfect for when I travel to states that have the less then 3in law, the handle on the pm3 is about as small as I would use.. heck I'm still kind of hoping someone makes something with the pm2 scale size and less then 2in blade for CA trips lol The 2 inch law is onl...

Re: M390 vs 20CV Ti-CN Delica
M390 and 20CV are nearly identical in composition so I wouldn’t worry about corrosion. These steels are among the highest in corrosion resistance other than the salt series steels.
So basically it comes down to looks. Choose whichever looks better to you.

Re: Will the S45VN CQI to the PM2 find its way to other Golden models
I've been trying to find one of the new s45vn pm2 for a few months now, so far only seen 1 camo/satin on eBay and it sold quickly, granted any pm2 right now is a challenge. Blades Canada (warriorsandwonders.com) has the plain edge model available in S45VN. I'd like to eventually get one but I'm in ...

It’s already coming to the para 3 according to the 2021 catalog. I’m unsure if they have said anything else about other models.

Re: Blade HQ Para 3 LW in M4
Pass, not sure if id do business with blade hq moving forward anyway. Some scandal I missed? Yes they had a data breach a couple of months back. I was notified by mail and email that my data, including credit card information, may have been compromised. I'm not sure if they have strengthened their ...

I do love maxamet but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing more regular production tool steels. K390, Vanadis 8, CruWear, and 4V are all steels I would like to see more of.

Re: Would you buy a Tanto Para 3?
I love the para 3, it is my favorite Spyderco knife. However, I don’t think I would be interested in a tanto blade. First, I had the tanto PM2 and I didn’t really care for it. The blade was too thick and it would constantly rub on the G10 when opening and closing. Also I don’t really find the blade ...

Re: LiL native s90v ?????
Just received mine today and the action was very gritty as others have described. It was also a pain to switch the clip to left hand carry as the screws were drenched in loctite. It’s a nice little knife but will need to break in plenty before the action smooths out.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
I have a S90V Lil Native sprint run on the way. I haven't tried the Lil Native yet but I wanted a s90v carbon fiber sprint and the native chief was a little too large for me.

Re: chaparral birdseye maple question
Hello and welcome. Unfortunately I can’t answer your question as to whether or not the scales are stabilized but I have owned the knife since the day it was released and I love it. I’ve had no issues with the scales and they still look great. I would recommend buying in person if possible as the bir...
