Re: Teal Para 3
i dont have a para 3 LW yet so i would be in for a teal para 3 LW, same as i would be happy for a manix 2 g10 in this combo.

Re: EDC vs WEDC
i agree but the way i get around this is carry one of each. lil native or cat as edc, and pm2 or manix for wedc.

Re: Jimping poll
i do like jimping quite a bit and have asked for it on a few knives like the lil native. do i think they can go overboard yes (think manix 2) but do i think they need some instead of none yes. the perfect amount of jimping would be the chap, soft and only where needed.

Re: Collection Limiting Rules
my rules are as follows
1 will i carry it, if yes then yes, if i wouldnt carry it i wont buy it.
2 i only keep 12 knives at a time; so do i have an open spot.
3 no more than 2 of the same knives but have to be in different steels

Re: Buying my first PM2: S30V or S110V?
I would seriously consider the M390 and K390 options still available at Bento Box Shop. i would agree with that seeing as how i love m390. it takes slighty longer to sharpen than s30v but holds an edge longer and just as stainless. i do like k390 as well but it is a tool steel and has to be maintai...

Re: How important is scale color?
color is extremely important to me. more so than the steel it comes with. i can explain, i would rather have a bunch of colored scales to a knife with s30v as i am very content with it, even tho i love m390 more. i have said many times if all the knives they sold were like the delica where you could...

Re: Knife Handles: The Importance and Safety Thereof
That is a good point. I guess honestly I have always chosen knives I felt were safe but now that I look back, quite a few of the knives i owned were not very safe as far as a safety standpoint. I am sorry you had to remember the hard way. I probably will again too. That honestly is why I stay with s...

Re: Nice to meet you, and can we have this as a Spyderco knife?
Hi David Mary, Welcome to tour forum. Regarding designs for Spyderco, best if you deal with us rather than deal publicly. Once design is in public domain, it's very difficult for us to work with it. sal so if i have a knife set designed, big med lil, i should send it directly to spyderco to see if ...

(a lot longer than I do)! :) i have been collecting knives since around 96, with swiss and buck and cheapo knives. did not actually get into spending real mo...

i can use it with my fingers on the ricasso but other knives and manufactures are the same with wasted space between my finger and where the edge starts. and your right it works but not so comfortable as if it was made to use a finger on. its all good Gernot. i like talking with you and respectfully...
