I just made a picture I intended to post, but remember I can't yet... In the meantime, let's go with the Stretch !
I love this knife, I'm so glad that I am now able to enjoy it my way.

Re: S110v to delicate more of a safe queen???
S110V is actually a really practical steel for certain use cases (it’s my personal favorite high vanadium stainless). Its best use is as a highly, highly stainless EDC slicer. It’ll definitely get a little brittle on you if you encounter hard objects…that’s more the realm of tool steels. But if you...

There's only one fear I have : I can only speak relatively well (in a poor accent) when I'm alone. Once I have a bit of stress my english becomes so sloppy it sounds like a soup !

I'm sad I simply thought about buying the Chinook 4 that was available on Lamnia for more than a year for 240€. Now that it's gone I miss it dearly

Re: S110v to delicate more of a safe queen???
S110V gets better with time, just like me. I chipped the very tip of my S110V Native 5 LW 15 minutes after unboxing it and cutting I-don't-remember-what. After a good reprofiling and a few sharpenings, I noticed a good difference in the frequency at which chipping occured. Geometry helps (Bump it up...

Re: What "others" are in the mail?
I managed to get a Professional Soldier before they were discontinued. :winking-tongue https://files.catbox.moe/z4mdto.jpeg One of their sweetest fixed blade designs in my opinion. Nice ! I like the look but I rarely use "thicker" fixed blades, even if it's not that thick compared to some...

Just missing the best knife CRK makes….. :winking-tongue Mnandi in Bocote https://files.catbox.moe/9ysfk7.jpeg https://files.catbox.moe/qba2ii.jpeg True, The Impinda will certainly not get in my home, but the Mnandi is most definitely next on the list :) maybe the Zaan afterwards, but I don't know ...

I love the OG Chinook, but would really want to get my hands on the 3 or 4th version one day. If a 5th comes around, I might be interested as well

Re: Vote: Kick? Choil? Forward? Other?
I like for the primary grind to take into account the whole edge length and future sharpenings. Like on a Large Sebenza.
I guess I'm more in the "other" choice ? Haven't voted yet :)

I hope to get my hands on one. A friend is supposed to get me one, that i'll get in a few months.
And if it goes according to plan, I think I'll try any diamond abrasive I have :) and a lot of sweat, apparently

Re: I don't give a #@$! about stainless
I'm definitely a tooleroo...and still think Magnacut is way overrated :yawn It hasn't blown me away in any category. Clearly as a tooleroo, I don't care about corrosion resistance. Ho hum edge holding, and sharpening hasn't seemed any different than most steels. I really don't get it. Well, it can'...

I thought I would run towards the Native Chief LW MC, Manix LW MC, Military 2 CruCarta and Lil' Native LW but what excited me the most is the Spy Myto There's only one thing : I hope what appears to be a flat grind instead of the hollow announced on the product page and reveal 14 is kinda thin BTE.....
