Does anyone here have a ukpk rescue?

Were they any good, or were they a bit of a gimmick?

I got a HH UKPK DP as a warranty replacement a while back, (backspacer broke on a HH UKPK) and while it's a perfectly good knife I don't really see any benefit to the shape over the leaf.

To all those who prefer the DP, what is it that makes you prefer it over the leaf?

Added one of these, the closing action is SUPER stiff. Maybe some use will soften the stiffness If it's that bad, I would send it back. A little stiff to start may be fine, but this sounds like a QC miss. I wouldn't have that on the entry level UKPK, so dont have it on this one. Mine is super smoot...

How about the DAMAUKPK?
