Good catch.
I heard that some folks dont like the fact that knife with ambi lock didnt have ambi clip. To me, this CQI makes perfect sense.
I think the product descripcion could be just pasted from last year, but the info was updated.

Re: Who wants more BBL and BAL ?
The Anthem doesn't use omega springs like the usual BM knife; it uses a rod and spring system - here's a screenshot from Crazy Sharp's Youtube video "Benchmade anthem disassembled" This is why I think there is a possibility of a slimmer CBBL or bolt lock system knife if ever it is designe...

Re: Who wants more BBL and BAL ?
If they could find a way to make the CBBL work without widening the closed width of the knife or having the necessary choil, I would wholeheartedly buy only CBBL knives onward. It could be possible, because I think the Benchmade Anthem operates on a similar principle (ambidextrous operation, spring...

Sign me up.
I like CBBL on my Manix, it´s cool and strong lock. Might pick up a LW Manix at some point.

Re: Steel that takes the keenest (sharpest) edge?
I know this is an older topic, but I would argue that if you want the keenest possible edge, I would look into steel that are straight razors made from. And for the most part, they are just basic carbon steel, 10xx, O1 and such. For stainless, 12c27 and AEB-L are also used for razors. Straight razor...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
That’s very interesting, can you explain whats been done to it? In my experience the factory grind works well for batoning, but leaves something to be desired with regards to whittling and carving. I’m not really impressed by how it’s processing fish either, but that’s probably just a sharpness iss...

Re: Your First Spyderco in 2021 !!!!!
I am not even sure if I get a new Spyderco this year.
I am planning to buy a new bow, so that will be quite expensive.
But maybe I will buy something from Golden or Taichung plant. But as always, I am waiting for next Reveal.

Re: Diamond Stone Question
I am not an expert, but from my experience, diamond stones (or plates) that are made as diamond embedded on top of stone started a bit more aggressive and then they smooth out a bit. You can see it as a break-in period. In this smoothed state they work for a long time. If you dont go so heavy handed...

Re: Straight Razor from Spyderco
For all forumites that are considering classic wet shaving - do it. Yes, I am biased, but for last 8 months of shaving with DE razor, brush and soap was never been happier with shaving. I am shaving every day, because I start to like it so much. And really, wet shaving start could be made really on ...

Re: Lifespan of G-10?
No, corrosion of liners would not affect G10. One thing that I just think about is when you have linerless construction with washers directly on G10. That could maybe I dug some wear, but my Chief is still in perfect condition. If you don't throw your knife into fire, I don't think there is somethin...

Re: Lifespan of G-10?
Do you mean like texture getting worn? Yes, it will happend in some years, it will get smoother.
But other than that, it will not rot, or corrode, or dissolve, or shrink, or vanish....

A more contoured scales, yes, why not.
Screw construction...not sure. I disassemble my Manix 2 REX45 once or twice and honestly, I can see why they just pinned it together.

Re: Manix 2 LW CPM SPY27 now shipping to dealers!
Did I say I like this knife? It could be nice to have LW Manix, just to compare it in use to regular G10 Manix. I think the colour is quite unique. I know I saw it some point, and then I remember one mineral called apatite. Looks like this https://www.malachitovaskrinka.sk/fotky36529/fotos/_vyr_1679...

Re: Fixing or Improving scuffs & scratches on Ti Chaparral
Disclaimer: I have never held a titanium Chaparral. Bad thing about CNC milled finish is that you can't really repair it at home. You could sand the areas down, but you will strip the pattern and I have a feeling that sanding some areas could be very difficult, because the plate of the surface might...

Re: Any blade play in the New Green Pac Salt?
Could be, I guess - in which case I thank them for a job well done :) . Might not be a washer at all (this is why I've been using all the disclaimers above) but it's the only explanation I'm being able to come up with based on looks alone and without tearing it apart. Excluding the (quite) wide gap...
