Maybe a BBL or CBBL would work? The flipper would have to stay in front of the ball bearing though? Perhaps the ball bearing would ride along the edge of the flipper, meaning the flipper would have to have an arc -- might make a nice looking guard once the blade was deployed. However, I think that w...

So Cliff, What do you think of a "Double Stuff" (1" X 5") CBN on one side and ultra fine ceramix on the other side? sal Sal, I am not sure if CNB in the same grit as used here can transition to a UF ceramic even if using a micro-bevel, I will check the weekend. I know you can ju...

I like the idea of a hawkbill. For those of you that voted for the HB, are you thinking of a blade more like a Spyderhawk (long, sweeping edge) or a Superhawk (shallow, straighter edge)? Regarding the Reverse S profile, if selected, I would want the blade to be longer than a SPOT or Dodo but smaller...

Sal, I know you're a fan of CF already (me too!) and I can already imagine the angst  of some staff in the next production meeting when you present another SKU for consideration! :D I'm good for the brown and a buffed CF model so I'll commit to buy either or both if they are manufactured. Perhaps challenge this person to remove all knives or cutting instruments larger than their perceived required length from their own daily lives? See how they cope with harvesting sustenance or cooking a meal for themselves. Knives as tools are still requisite in today's "modern" society.

I still maintain we need something in Shirogami White-1 (White FRN would be awesome). Then we'd have the Japanese white and blue steels covered...and Shirogami White-1 is the hardest steel made by Hitachi, though it's not as tough as SuperBlue. I think it would make the ideal companion to the Super...

According to ZKnives' data, it looks that way.
