Love this version but I quite like FRN, I haven't carried it much but I do think it's a good user. Both the blade and the handle are quite slim and it's quite low weight.

Not great edge retention but easy to sharpen so great for a beater/utility knife. Nice design/blade shape and yes you do have to be a bit carefull with the linerlock on this one.
But you're probably already using it yourself by now. :D

The compression lock would be an improvement, but then again I think any Spydie without a compression lock would be improved by it..

Definitely PM2 but it may eventually get pushed aside a bit by the Manix lightweight that has only had the last 4 days in my pocket, prefer the shape and lock of the PM but love FRN and the light weight. Would love dark blue FRN but would love that on any blade.. If only there would be a lightweight Para in FRN
Have only owned my first S110V blade for half a week, lightweight Manix so can't say much about that but voted for M4 although 52100 sounds very good as well.

Never had trouble with corrosion on folders while travelling the Pacific ('06-'07 with a benchmade Griptilian and '09-'10 with a D2 PM1) keep them out of salt water and always rinse any blade if you've been cutting acidic fruits.. The restaurant I worked at in the 90's always had 1 big serrated blad...

Looks like a nice edc and with the slim blade it would also be nice for carving!

Both great as edc but I prefer the Para since I often prefer a smaller blade for fine carving or similar work and also don't really carry a blade as a means of self defense.(when I want a bigger blade I'd rather have a fixed blade) I also prefer the compression lock.
