Re: Warranties, Forum Etiquette, and a Thank You
Also a new guy here of only a few months, but a VERY old member of several other forums. In such a role I have to frequently remind myself of something I was told as a young parent (my kids are 36 now): be careful never to kill their spirit. Kids look up to you as a parent and if you beat down thei...

Re: Blade Length vs Edge Length - Why does it matter?
Blade Length vs Edge length - Why does it matter? I am 63 and for the most part do not worry about having a record because I do not apply for work any more. If you apply for work, having a record can mean NOT WORKING, or not working in your desired field, I know this first hand. I was passed on for...

Re: Lil Native Light Weight?
As much as I would like to love the LW LN, I'm disappointed that they maintained the hard edges of the N5 LW, and did not go the way of the Para 3 LW's contoured edges. Choking up the choil is going to be very uncomfortable. I don’t really have an aversion to the squared edges but the jimping will ...

Re: Lil Native Light Weight?
Choking up the choil is going to be very uncomfortable. You're kidding...right? Hard edges? People act like the N5 LWs have absolutely no radius around the edges. I don't have large hands and I've never felt discomfort while using any version of the Native 5. The Lil Native LW is even smaller. Give...

Re: Apologies - 2023 Spyderco Online Factory Seconds Sale
I know it's a free market and all, but posts like these leave a bitter taste on anyone who wanted any of these seconds and didn't succeed. This guy (actually I've seen him sell overpriced Spydies on the FB groups for years now) is selling seconds at nearly retail prices and in the case of the Manix...

Re: Boxes and stickers
I put Spyderco and dealer stickers on my knife boxes, and store the Spyderco boxes on plastic storage boxes. Does that make sense? Wait... why wouldn't that make sense!? :winking-tongue https://i.ibb.co/Z2c235j/IMG-7798.jpg I now have a wall in my workshop dedicated to spyderco stickers, and a shel...

Re: Is this the patent for an existing model?
It looks like a Hinderer Firetac with a backlock, wire clip and a Spydie hole in the blade.
I love it. I wish Spyderco would produce more neutral/less bottom-of-the-palm swell models like these.

Re: Will we ever see a Manix 3?
From a marketing and sales standpoint, a 3" Manix would be a good draw for the brand, given how the Para 3 has been well received and is among the Spydercos with the most number of dealer exclusives, and even has a LW version. The same is true with the Lil' Native. We even have the Microjimbo n...

Re: Spyderco Seconds Sale Scores
My two scores arrived yesterday. A Manix LW and a Centofante 3. I really like both of them although I doubt they'll replace any Spyderco knives I already own. It took a little while to figure out why they were seconds, but I think I have. The scales are a little rough in one area of the Centofante....

Re: Will we ever see a Manix 3?
There's been requests for a Para3-sized Manix and I'm one of those that would love to see this in production. A smaller Manix would nicely complement Spyderco's trifecta of PM2/ Para3, Shaman/Lil' Native, and Manix2/ (Lil'-Manix?)

Re: Apologies - 2023 Spyderco Online Factory Seconds Sale
Now that people are posting their "seconds hauls" I'm pretty confused. I'm seeing people that got 5+ knives including Paysans, the full collection of 15V knives, and other highly sought after knives. And my question is how? I live only a few miles from the Spyderco Outlet and have a 900Mb...

Re: Potential for other models to come in 15V
Slightly disappointed that Spyderco didn't make a thread like that here in the forum... We can fix that. Thanks, I cast my vote there. Although my personal opinion was that it would have been better if Spyderco themselves also conducted a poll here, instead of limiting it to social media outlets. I...

Re: Spyderco Seconds Sale Scores
If we agree that Spyderco is a company that primarily likes to sell its products through its dealer network what is to prevent Spyderco from reaching an agreement with some of their larger online retailers to present the seconds for sale. The knives would still be as is, notched, and clearly unders...
