Re: Striving For a Healthy Long Life

I was an "athlete" for the first half of my life. In the first 35 to 40 years of life I competed in a number of sports(bicycle racing, ice hockey, martial arts, raced sailboats, golf, tennis, ...), ran/jogged, weight lifted, and worked in construction for 10+ years. I cannot say my diet wa...

Re: Striving For a Healthy Long Life

People on Okinawa Japan live long time, because of diet, no stress, simple life. I definitely live in the groove of Okinawa, Japan! :party-face I watch my diet on each bite and drink that I take. I try to go sleep at the same hour every day, and even try to sleep the same number of hours. I believe...

Re: Thoughts on the spymyto???

I think it may sell far beyond the typical Spyderco fan base due to it's design. I like the frame lock and the tab opening.

The comic Ricky Gervais just donated 1.9 million pounds to animal charities. He has released a few short videos of him talking about dogs, he really likes them.

Re: Striving For a Healthy Long Life

Maybe I am wrong but if your born with bad Genes your not holding good deck of cards for long life. Jmho It's tricky. I'll be 64 in less than 60 days and take it hour by hour, day by day. I do make plans, because you have to think about the possibilities of what would happen if you actually hit 70,...

Re: Striving For a Healthy Long Life

Yes, I agree James! I subscribe to the Mediterranean Diet and it works very well. I don't live in fear of eating something and dying, it is more complex than that. To say that I think about and work on my diet daily would be putting it mildly. I am fighting to stay alive. That is the reality. For my...

Re: Upping the price.

I think that Sal and many others have already spelled out most of the justifications for prices at the levels they are at as well as how capitalism works. Is anyone giving any thought to what is being posted? Has anyone read all of the posts and thought about what they are posting before they hit th...

Re: Upping the price.

To those of you who do not want to pay for Spyderco products, I say depart and do not return. Either trust those managing the creation of Spyderco products or find another manufacturer that pleases you. Spyderco the corporation, the First Family of Spyderco, it's employees and fans do not need you t...

I'd much rather use glass over anything plastic. Paper over anything plastic. Bamboo is a good product and it grows fast. We just stopped buying milk in plastic and we have it delivered in glass now. Stop buying anything in plastic. Look for glass containers or butcher wrapping paper for fish and me...

Re: AI art knows Spyderco

So long as AI does not infringe (intellectual property; job opportunities), Job opportunities? Technology always eliminates jobs. Have you seen a car factory lately? It may create new job opportunities but on the whole it’s rare to see an increase in low skilled jobs when a technology takes hold. E...

If there were no regulations I'd carry 2, Spyderco Stuart Ackerman Sustains and they have 6.2 inch blades.

I am still taking B-Complex, but am not taking NAD+ at the moment. NAD+ is expensive and I am working on a tight budget, plus, who really knows if it is good for you. Maybe. Maybe not. I am not a doctor. Interesting video on NAD: https://odysee.com/@DrBerg:4/the-1-best-vitamin-for-arthritis-(not:7 h...
