We can see the carbide banding which is a prominent feature in ingot steels. The banding orientation is moving ...

MagnaWear Easter Egg?

So I subscribe to Dr. Larrin's Patreon and think I may have found an easter egg hint at a new steel... or is MagnaWear something I haven't heard of?

Re: Native Chief in 204P/20CV/M390/S110V/S45VN/MagnaCut

I'm not flush with money to burn but hope that we have not seen the end of Native Chief model. If the models come out slowly, I'll keep buying or ask my Secret Santa if he can pick one up for me to buy from him. I'd love to see a Native Chief in 204P/20CV/M390/S110V/S45VN/Magnacut!!! I have not had...

Re: Elastic Ceramic. Wow!

Is there a consensus about how to sharpen that thing? I remember KaseKnives suggesting stropping with high grid diamond lapping papers. While this might be good for maintaining the edge, I suspect it is not feasible to fix the chips or alter the secondary bevel angle. Hopefully we can Shawn(aka BBB...

Re: EXTREMELY disappointed into Spyderco

Also, it's a good rule of thumb to contact whoever you have the issue(whether in life or a transaction relationship) with instead of posting on the internet about it first. Excuse me, I have every right to post my disappointment online. Don’t worry about it. This could have all been taken care of b...

The same two guys always talking so much about steels and sharpening, degrading others, their equipment, the steels, others abilities....a lot of talk, yet have never ONCE posted photos of how great at sharpening they are. Time to put up or shut up fella's. You certainly know who you are at this po...

Re: EXTREMELY disappointed into Spyderco

Yes, you should contact their customer service. They always make good on stuff like that, it's not in their interest to rip off people, I'm sure they'll be able to sort that out with you. Sorry you got such an unpleasant surprise when opening the box though Man, what a letdown. I’m sure they will m...

Good **** sir! What cerakote color did he use? Had a Rex76 done in armor black and a ZDP-189 second done in sig grey. Just finished sharpening a T-15, working on a K294, then a 15V before dropping them off for cerakote. LR Black "Cerakote’s® unique inorganic LR Black is a low-reflective light-...

Appreciate you checking back in on the performance. I didn't get a chance to test any out. I sent my step-dad out with rex76 but he didn't get anything. Hope all is well.

Re: T15 Mule owners... What you guys think?

Not much by the way of input but I just got around to sharpening one of my T-15 mules and she's the hardest steel I've sharpened so far. Isn't a surprise or news but I'll check back in after some use.

the tusk has a bbl with a spring. i'd love to see a manix 2 salt. i'm not sure it's realistic, but it would be a necessary knife for me. the manix is by far my favorite spyderco. it's an ergonomic marvel and i'd love it in lc200n.
