Now that's some funny stuff there.
I'd be proud of that one myself, very nice.

There wasn't that much negativity in the grand scheme of things, JMO.

What has anyone been using them for.

When I get a stiff knife, I simply open and close it over and over and over while doing something else or sitting around. In a short while you can simulate a years worth of opening and closing. most will loosen up after a while, although there are a few that are naturally more tight. Try the Tuff or...

I personally don't like the Military or the Para Military. I had two of each and got rid of all four. The tip is too fragile on both models. The pocket clip is mounted all wrong on the Military and the compression lock on the Para Military will pinch the crap out of you about fifty percent of the t...

Who the heck is Kate Upton? Does she sell Spydercos? Ken You need to get out more my brotha, even I know who she is, and I am about as far removed from celebrity types as anyone. (unless they are the gun & knive guru's) Actually, if Spyderco got her to walk around showing off her Para's, I am t...

Welcome and great pickups on these. I am not much of a price\value evaluator,
so sorry about that, but you have some great old finds there. Someone will have
a better idea of price.

How come I never find stuff like this.

Agree with Deacon, some cheaper made knives might have issues, but not Spyderco's and especially the DLC. I have had my DLC Military get marks on it that I thought were scratches into the Black, only to find out that it was simply marks or rubs "on top" of the DLC, not into it. I think tha...

So I wanted to see what the big deal was for myself. I went out and bought a used PM2 off ebay, and it arrived today. My first observation was that the compression lock on the PM2 is much smoother than on my Superleaf. The PM2 flicks open easily, like my Manix 2, where the Superleaf never would. Th...

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. `'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber do...

The Glock 19 is one of the best all around pistols today and is very popular for that reason. If I was going to get a new handgun, it'd be the Gen4 G19. Considering home defense, it may seem irrational to keep a firearm on you at all times, until you see something like this, Home Invasion , I don't...

IMO, most handguns have a much louder report than a shotgun. Either one is going to give you permanent hearing damage, but we are speaking of an emergence situation where hearing damage would not be the main issue. This is a great comment and something that I NEVER hear on the TV gun shows either. ...

Even getting enough ammo ro practice is difficult right now. Something simple and effective as a pump sho...

Not to be a jack ankle or anything, but for what it's worth, not my cup of tea.
Double the price, double the weight. I like it the way it was originally made.
If I want a heavier pricier knife, I'll get a different knife to begin with.
