I'm okay with black if the scales are carbon fiber, but otherwise I agree, for G-10 I want a little color.

My S90V Millie is a great one for the yard, but I also have a big stainless, serrated, Opinel.

I'd say the Delica, because even though it's a little small, the overall design heuristics are what I like (and we can see them across the entire Spyderco lineup)

Looks like you've got a lot of good advice (and welcome to the forum), but I would just reiterate the suggestion of a nice Para 3, and the SPY27 is likely a great all-around alloy.

The two I have (Stretch 2 and Goddard Sprint) have seen fair amount of use with nary a ding.
