You must not have looked very well when you stopped by my table at the Lexington show the first weekend in January. Had one sitting in the Spyderco case.

The Street Bowie, being a Fred Perrin design, is built and intended for SD, while the South Fork's design function is more general utility. The Street Bowie is an excellent SD piece - light, concealable, secure in any grip, fast, and feels good in the hand. I've carried one (when not carrying a much...

I just got some in yesterday from the distributor who has the exclusive on the brown S35V Para 2. I would assume that Knifecenter got some as well.

Spyderco Street Bowie has always been one of my favorite discreet carry fixed blades - good to see a comeback. Disappears when carried IWB, and you definitely don't notice the weight. Here's one in a Drawpoint sheath I made way back when, with one of my handmade G-clips (forerunner of the Spyderco G...

Would love to see Spyderco do a version of both the Pocket Hobbit and the Sifu, but like Sal said, it'll probably be a while because of Spyderizing the basic design. Main reason would be re-designining the lock for these knives which originally used the Rolling Lock.

The REKAT Pygmy (only 3 protos made) was a fixed blade version of the Pocket Hobbit (folder) with a thinner handle. I did the sheaths for the REKAT Pygmy prototypes.

thanks for sharing the photo mike. I hope others share theirs as well. How does your sheath clip to a belt or pants? It uses an integral G-Clip, similar to the Spyderco G-Clip, which I designed, but with a little longer hook on the bottom . My start in sheath making (at least...

I've made many belt rigs, mostly IWB, for folders with the blade deployed since the middle 90's. Don't do too many any more. Also make belt rigs for larger/heavier folding knives so as to keep the weight out of your pocket, but are still fast access and deploy. Here's a pic of a HD holster for a Civ...

Mike I have a belt holster from Skunkworks that Frank gave me probably 12 years ago. It looks almost exactly like yours. I was doing some similar stuff for some REKAT models (pre-dateting the Escalator, Gunting) when they needed HD versions that absolutely would work in "high speed low drag&qu...

Hi Torakan, Welcome to the Spyderco forum. Hi Cesar, A Gunting clips are difficult to find. We disco'd the model many years ago. Good luck. sal Cesar, I've made quite a lot of the holsters that people used for their Guntings, both on the belt and in the pocket, and would be glad to make one or you ...

Since I've handled the original REKAT Pygmy Warrior prototypes, I'm anxious to see Spydeco's production version. Spyderco proto looks good! And yes, the Pygmy is a fixed blade version of the Pocket Hobbit.

The Spyderco G-clip allows you to place it on either side of the sheath at various angles. Screw and post attachment - sheath body and G-clip are separate. You can also attach an optional IWB loop to replace the G-clip.

Two more factors for the change-over from leather to thermoplastic are limited grip acquisition of the leather sheaths, and the sharp blades cutting into the leather.

Thanks, bc, that's what I thought, but it would have been irresponsible for me not to be sure. I try to build high performance sheaths rather than "knife holders".
