The weights I posted were from Spyderco. You’d think they’d know how much their stuff weighs, lol!

Re: Para 3 pocket clip needs CQI

Or, you could set it up for tip down carry. Safer, and given the placement of the holes, there'd be much less exposure that way. Don't know why people say this. It's not at all safer. Can't speak for "people" in general, but gravity, combined with the piss poor blade retention of Walker, ...

Re: Para 3 pocket clip needs CQI

At first I did not like Para 3 but after upgrading to Casey Lynch deep pocket clip I'm amazed.... Spyderco Should definately make factory deep pocket clips... Sal said they don't offer a factory deep carry clip because he knows there are many small businesses that have popped up that make them, and...

How's the detent on the Pattada? Can you shake the blade out if you grab the handle and give it a few snaps?

Re: Pattada and Roc join my 17-year-old Delica

What steel is on the Pattada and how does it compare to the other steels used on the PM2's? I love the design of the Pattada, but I'm not a huge fan of liner locks.

Can you convince me to get one?

Re: PM2 Red G-10 M390 at DLT Trading?!?!

Any updates on when they will be shipping these beauties? I'm definitely jonesin' for a new knife. It's been a few days since I bought my S110V Para 3, so I need another one! Ha Ha. They are expected to ship a week from today. Yep, that's what I thought. I was just hoping for something a little soo...

Re: Going Clip Free

I’ve tried carrying a Para 3 w/o a clip and it works great. I recently bought another Para 3 (S110V) and have been carrying it in my pocket. I was going to order an MXG clip for it, but I might not after all. I just removed the stock clip and dropped it in my pocket. Works great!

Re: What's the appeal of deep carry?

I have deep carry clips on my knives that NEED them; Para 3 and Benchmade North Fork. My other knives, PM2s, do not need a deep carry clip IMHO. In fact, I prefer a bit of the PM2 sticking out of my pocket since it makes retrieving the knife easier.

Re: Name a Spyderco knife you thought you would like but REALLY LOVED once you bought it.

PM2, I originally thought it would be too big, since I usually prefer a 3" blade. However it has eclipsed my PM3 to be my favorite EDC. Now I need to get it in as many different steels as my marriage will allow....... Same here. I used to carry a Delica (or similarly sized knives) before I got...

Is it a small “w” shaped notch? If so, you’re good. That’s one of the things to look for when examine a potential fake. This might be what the other guys are referencing as well. Post up some pics when you can.

Finally got a stiff PM2...

I've got several PM2's and all of them have been pretty smooth. Some more than others, with the S110V being the best, free falling and zero blade play right out of the box. The S35VN and the DLC (black G-10) were just behind that; while not free falling, a ever so slight flick and the blade dropped....

Re: I feel like the only person who likes S30V in 2017

If you could gather up all of the self appointed steel gurus from various knife forums and Facebook, and have them put their reputation on the line and do a “blind taste test” on various steels, I’m betting that NONE of them could tell the steels apart. Assuming the blades are all sharpened to the s...
