I've had the Blue Nishijin stretch on preorder from Knifecenter for over a year now, nice to see it trickling into other dealers. The double bevel has some interest from me, but looking at it's pictures, it looks almost like it has an edge on the back of the flat ground blade. I'm guessing it's just...

I got to thinking and I thought of this: Why are spyder edges designed with he serration on the left side? It seems like it would be more practical to have it on the right side, if only due to the number of right handed people vs lefties. Does anybody know why this is or if there's a specific reason...

Given the choice between the Enuff and pretty much anything else, I'm gonna take the Enuff. It's VG-10/H-1, comes in any shape you like, and it's light. Perfect backpacking knife, IMO.

If it's not too much trouble, does anybody here know the ETA on the Stretch sprint with nishijin and damascus? I preordred one a WHILE back and I was curious when I might start seeing pictures or when the knife might start dropping.

My dream Spydie is already being made, I'm just waiting on it now. It's a VG-10 damascus stretch with blue nishijin handles. I don't know the ETA on it, but I know it's supposed to be out sometime soon....

If they make it in S30V/VG-10, I'm in ALL THE WAY. I've always liked the blade shape of the Higonokami, kinda like a clip point and a sheepsfoot had a baby.
