I'd love to see a GB in full SE and M390! I'd buy one as it stands, but anything that's not stainless tends to put me off.

Yowzer: I'm pretty sure you could swap them out with the right tools, I know a guy that did that by putting a saber delica blade into a steel handle.

Frankly, I love the knife, and if getting the carraca repaired means I'm not getting it back, I'll live with the silence.

EDIT: And New York State doesn't have strict laws. NYC does. I live Upstate, far away as you can get from that place.

I live in New York state, they won't ship here. Ergo, if I send a knife to them, I'm probably not getting it back, regardless of warranty. I'm too frightened to send them anything! That's why I held off until I thought the navaja issue was solved, but either I got "New Old" stock, or I ope...

Don't think so, but I can't really check because if I take it apart it voids the already useless warranty and then even if I DO manage to get it back, it will go unfixed.

I've had a really bad year for my knives, I just wish this one would work, I love it.

Well bad news, my navaja has gone silent. It's beautiful, was perfect our of the box, and it no longer ratchets..... *sigh* I really hate my life sometimes, because as far as I know, I can't even send it to have it repaired. I live in Upstate New York, and we all know how that goes....

I'd recommend a temperance, a southfork, or a Schempp Rock.

There's the Karahawk, which is a Karambit. Dunno if that counts, but that's the only one I know of.

Nope, never. In my experience Spyderco knives are nigh on indestructible.
