Re: NFL 2022-2023 Season
LOL! Yeah, Jimmy G is just more injury prone and has little desire to actually play football. In other news, Juju smith-tiktok is coming to the Patriots… makes me want to vomit. :nauseated Such a weird move in my opinion too. They let Jakobi Meyers walk, just to go and sign JuJu Smith-schuster to an...

Re: Next GOLDEN ERA Sprint Run Desired?
There are many I 'd love to see come back, but Sal, Eric, and other designers would rather there was capacity for all their new designs to make to the market. I'm 100% in agreement that I also want more new models, I'm just saying instead of several sprints and exclusives of the typical models we c...

Re: Next GOLDEN ERA Sprint Run Desired?
Kris. Every time. I won't back down. The most ergonomic spyderco ever made(also quite the looker). Unfortunately Sal has said they can't produce it right now. Maybe one day it'll change. Also use micarta instead of smooth G10 like the Persian sprint. I seem to recall hearing mention of a Lil Kris i...

I believe it was their first exclusive with Spyderco. Yes. I’m missing the delica and native 5 LW. I didn’t like those when they came out. But...

Re: Snap-it Salt not loved?
Most likely discontinued due to poor sales. I think people are averse to the snap-it clip potentially interfering with the blade during use.

Re: Next GOLDEN ERA Sprint Run Desired?
It seems this subject keeps getting talked about but no traction . Why not narrow down models and do a poll ? This subject will never satisfy everyone. MG2 Or....just make a newer, modern version full size Tim Wegner with K390 and be done with it! ;) Tim Wegners designs were eventually sold through...

Haha...thats the best one yet https://i.postimg.cc/zBYgqQ6v/Screenshot-20230315-071933-Facebook.jpg LOL!!! I love watching Aaron Rodgers boss the Jets around like this! Then after all of this, it would be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen happen in the league if he doesn’t even go there! :rofl :rof...

Re: Next GOLDEN ERA Sprint Run Desired?
i feel like this question has been asked already... didn't you start another thread on this already, or was it just a discussion within the everlasting ayoob thread? This same exact thread gets made about three times a year. :rofl! Thread 1. https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=91093 ...

Re: Next GOLDEN ERA Sprint Run Desired?
I consider around 2009-2020 to be their Golden Era. So with that said bring on another PPT Perrin sprint!!! We’ve only had two sprints of this knife and yet it deserves as many variations as a Paramilitary 2! What are they waiting for!

Re: AI, Sp AI derco knife. Let’s see what AI does with Spyderco designs
See, even a human produced drawing in crayon is more enticing than what artificial intelligence can produce. The trouble comes when the line between the two is blurred and we can no longer distinguish between human drawn and a.i. drawn. It’s basically already at that level too. It’s already too easy...

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2023 Report
On the MicroJimbo: Blade: 1.97 inch / 50 mm = so the blade is more or less the same length as the Manbug/Ladybug? (1.95" (49mm) ) I hope this is a typo... that would be quite disappointing if true. I remember last year, that the rumors were for the blade to be 2 and a half inches. sal, feel fr...

Re: AI, Sp AI derco knife. Let’s see what AI does with Spyderco designs
Not that I eagerly want to get into this discussion, because ya'll are obviously just having some fun and many probably aren't aware that this is a controversial topic, but I am not of a fan of the ways AI has recently begun to be used by some and I think a knife "designed by AI" meant to...

Re: Purpose of a Business?
The purpose of a business can depend on a variety of factors, including the goals and values of the business owners, the industry and market in which the business operates, the needs and wants of its customers, and the impact the business aims to have on society and the environment. Any Lil Native variant is a must buy for me so I’m in for both the wharnie and LW. I’m expecting to like the Microjimbo to a similar degree. It looks like such an awesome little knife!

Re: AI, Sp AI derco knife. Let’s see what AI does with Spyderco designs
The examples we’ve seen in this thread have been far from exciting but A.I. isnt completely useless right now. It can provide some actual decent baselines to begin creating a new design. Some a.i. creations could already be refined enough to produce as is. Here are a small handful I just used a.i. t...

Re: Thor Damascus Spyopera
The regular production SpyOpera has one of the smoothest opening actions of any knife I own. It rivals the Sage 3 and it’s a backlock! I would imagine this version will be equally as smooth.
