Re: Replaceable blade folding mule

I mentioned this in the other folding mule thread, but I think a friction folder makes sense in that one could easily swap blades by just by removing the pivot. You don't really have to worry about tolerances. They could even provide different blade lengths and handle options, like Spyderco's versio...

Re: Poll for Possible Folding Mule - Model Preference

I know most people prefer locking folders, but what about a friction folder? You could buy the blade and handle separately to try different steels, handle materials, handle shapes, etc. Super simple and less expensive as a "base model", but could be upgraded with a different handle (factor...

Re: Show your enduras.

I like the orange handles! My son, who is in the Coast Guard, has an orange handled Autonomy. Orange and blue are probably my favorite handle colors. I have yet to own one, but the Autonomy seems like an excellent auto. Sounds like your son has chosen the perfect knife for his profession. https://i...

The orange in the Zome pattern came through nicely in this shot.
Thanks! Sometimes I get lucky.

I picked up a little friend while paddling yesterday:

Re: Multiple edc

I've recently forced myself to carry more than one blade. I've always felt like it was too redundant to have more than one on my person, but now I have different knives for different situations.

Re: Show your enduras.

I just started a thread asking about this knife. I am wanting to know how you and other like it and what you think about it. https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=83711 I've been contemplating about getting that Endura. I want to collect orange, but don't know if I want to add this one...

Re: Hunt for orange

@aquaman67 That orange natural g10 looks amazing!

The only orange handled knives I have are a Cutlery Shop Exclusive HAP40 Zome Endura 4 and a Byrd Rescue 2. The orange in the Endura can be difficult for me to capture sometimes...

Re: Consistent edc

The Byrd Cara Cara 2 was probably my most carried knife. After discovering and following all the various forums in late 2011, the Cara Cara 2 was my first purchase. Before that, I had carried Gerber's, Winchesters, etc. Since purchasing the Byrd, I have tried alot of other knives but always gravitat...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Really diggin’ your pics Peace. That endura has been all over the place the last two weeks! *que McDonald’s music* I’m lovin’ it! Thanks! It's my first Endura and I'm still really liking it. I don't purchase knives very often, so it'll probably stay in my pocket for quite a while. I know the Zome p...
