On the currently produced models it's called DLC, I believe.

Wouter,

Thanks for your post. I am very hungry for Paramilitary info right now as I'm about to order one myself. I look forward to your pictures on your website, as I have really enjoyed the other knives featured there. Keep up the great work!

Chris,

Thanks for your feedback. I'm not fanatical about the blade play thing either...just thought maybe I should "cool my heels" for awhile. You're right...that's just silly.

Besides, if they do become "improved" later on, I'll just buy another one then.

Thanks, Jeff.

Folks, Because of this thread I went to my case last night and fondled them all...it was good because I changed my EDC for the weekend from my black Millie to my BM 905BT. Poor little thing hadn't seen much action since I got it a month or so ago. This is a great "therapy thread". Be cool,...

Should I "wait" to buy a Paramilitary?

Hi Folks, Just wondering...do you think there may be design or production improvements coming in the near future on this model? I was hoping to get one with no vertical blade play but it seems that this may prove elusive, from what I have recently heard. I really like the looks of this knife, and su...

Thom, I sure know what you mean. I often think the same thing about my obsession. I have begun to try and convince myself however, that there are a lot of far more "destructive" distractions that I could be spending my disposable income on. So far, this has been working for me. Be well, fe...

Thom, Very well said! Thank you for writing this! I greatly respect Sal's obvious humility and approachful-ness (if that's a word). Oh, I guess it's approachability. In any case Sal and Company are great! However, if I didn't think so i'd still feel comfortable saying so in this forum. Thanks Sal, J...

General,

Very good review! Thank you for writing this. Your treatise has answered many questions I had about the Paramilitary.

I am now formally unable to resist the temptation to order one...Hmmmmm. I wonder if they will eventually be made available in a black DLC coated blade version?

DLC coating on Military hardware?

Hi Gang, I just received my black blade Military, and it is fabulous! It has all of the wonderful qualities of the newest, S30V Military w/ the added benefit of the ultracool coating. Simonas pictures were very accurate indeed - ever since I saw them I knew I had to own one. I really like the black ...
