I'm not sure what works with what bodies in regards to Canon but this is the model(Nikon) I use and fully recommend. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Tamron-SP-90mm-f-2-8-Di-Macro-AF-Lens-for-Canon-EOS/170649241730?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%...

Re: Photography
ive been messing around with the focus points and for my camera there is a button next to the shutter. when i press it i can either scroll with the wheel up by the shutter to move the focus point horizontally or use the d pad to move it vertically and horizontally. i think with taking slow moving o...

Re: Photography
Recomposing after focus lock risks being off the focus plane. Really not worth the unnecessary risk when you have precise focus points that cover the frame like most APS-C/DX sensors do. Full frame is another story when you can be forced to recompose due to lack of point coverage. My beef with movi...

Re: Photography
I dislike auto ISO as well but it helps beginners increase their keeper rate until they learn more. I usually only use it in tough/changing lighting conditions... like concerts when I'm typically in a priority mode. Recomposing after focus lock risks being off the focus plane. Really not worth the u...

Re: Photography
Most photographers use single point autofocus for still subjects. Thumb the red focus point to where you want focus to be.... every single time you shoot an image. Focus will be where YOU want and not where the camera guesses it should be. It's still considered Auto focus. Manual focus is when you p...

Re: Photography
Image blur/out of focus. You were probably zoomed in with slow kit lens.... which stops the lens down(less light let in)... which forced a slower shutter speed(to get more light in)... which opened the door for camera or subject movement. You can compensate with higher ISO to speed the shutter up bu...

Re: Photography
I would recommend getting a fast aperture 35mm(fairly cheap) and maybe a wide angle if you like landscapes. Then start saving for a 70-200mm 2.8... which is an absolute must have for any serious photographer... hobby or otherwise. Good glass is expensive but worth holding out for. Buy once cry once ...

Nothin' wrong with a Glock. I have a model 23 that I carried for years but now I tend to go for something even smaller and lighter. My city carry is a Khar CM9 but I prefer my Ruger LCR in the woods. http://i689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/winkler_chad/shooting033016/Group_zpsfsxzm7xg.jpg http://i...

Re: BHQ Paramilitary 2 CPM M4 Exclusive.
I ordered one Thursday when they went on sale... and another on Friday when availability trumped restraint. Both showed up today. I think the Jade is way awesome and am really happy to add it to my collection. I think the S110V has been dethroned as far as PM2 build quality goes. I think these will ...

Twins! (Almost) :D I think that I shoot my Sig better than any other pistol that I own, other than some of my .22s. This target has 40 rounds through it from about 50 feet. I managed to keep all of them in the black and was quite happy with that. :) http://i689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/winkler_...

Re: How fast will the M4/Jade Para2 sell out?
I'm not saying its not correct but I'm skeptical about the "2400 were made" number being thrown around..someone on BF's asked how many were made and this is the answer BHQ gave.. http://i.imgur.com/469N4BQ.jpg Until I hear something official from BHQ then to me at least its a unknown numb...

Great write up. It's always interesting to see the process step by step. I hurried to go preorder... and was thrilled to see such a great price! It's a no brainer. Thanks!
