Re: SAL!! When Will We See The Next Value Folder??

https://i.imgur.com/LB8LteDl.jpg You can of course also look into the ambitious/tenacious range, the difference between CTS-BD1 v 8cr13mov is negligible with people having preferences either way but I’ve not tried the former. My ambitious has seen years of use and is still solid, it’s been through ...

Re: SAL!! When Will We See The Next Value Folder??

I’d look into the classics like the dragonfly and delica.
Great knives and deserve a spot in every collection.
I also really like the Cat, really ergonomic and surprisingly great.

Re: Shipping of internal parts

I’d like to see parts available as an extension of the current business, it’s not a charity and yes the user pays.
You get warranty by sending it in or you can buy the parts and sort it yourself.

Re: Taking apart knives

I wonder what the ratio of knive that have been disassembled vs those that have been damaged in doing so. Not possible to tell. If the knife was disassembled, There is usually something damaged or we wouldn't be able to tell it's been taken apart. If we can't tell, then there should be no problem. ...

Re: Taking apart knives

One of the best suggestions, imho, to come out of these paired threads are some small tamper-evident stickers. Put one on each side of the pivot at the factory. Make them so they're easily removed destructively (e.g. the adhesive comes off readily with a bit of rubbing alcohol, but the sticker fall...

Re: Disapointed with customer service..

I think maybe it's time to chill. Dave, next time shoot me an email or ask Charlynn to bring me up to date. You are new to this forum and you came in with guns blazing. 5 pages of this could have been avoided. I don't know what forums you are used to, but we try to be civil and courteous here. I'm ...

Re: Disapointed with customer service..

I don’t care that we disagree, not that you where successful in repairing your knife. I think you have missinterpreted what my intention was. I’m glad you got your knife sorted but it’s not the point. as I have said countless times, fixing the knife isn’t a problem for me BUT there are those out th...

Re: Disapointed with customer service..

Well actually spyderco asked for it by providing a medium to interact with their customers, in the future who’s feed back will be considered more value? Mine, wherein I feel there is a significant gap in their service and a potentially profitable area they could expand into, or yours where everyone...

Re: Disapointed with customer service..

Why it upsets some spyderco fans that some other spyderco fans have got some sub optimal knives and are unhappy with the current return only, no parts policy is beyond me but your opinion has been counted and for me personally it has indeed altered how I will next consider buying a knife from spyde...

Re: Taking apart knives

I keep seeing "ELU" get tossed around in this discussion. By context it must mean "end user", but what is the "L" all about. Maybe Google will help? Elu - An Indonesion word, which has the meaning of 'you' in an unpolite way. Elu - A girl who is pretty and kind. Likes ...

Re: Taking apart knives

I don't think it's surprising that Spyderco doesn't stock every screw, washer, or watever for every model they ever made. If that outrages you, I encourage you to start your own company. No one had expressed that they should, additionally I doubt that spyderco are making the screws and washers so h...
