Odd question, did Spyderco ever vary the pattern of thier spyderedge?

The only SE knife I have a dfly salt SE and the pattern looks a bit more spaced out then an endura 4 se i was handling the other day. The dealer is legit, so I am certain I was not holding fake E4.

The brown cts-xhp native was PE only. That was my first native and the first spidie I gifted. Deeply regret not buying a replacement.
