Re: Thicker "harduse" bladestocks / fine tips.. and more - I don´t fully get it
I'm with you Warstein! I routinely carry a saber ground VG10 Endura on duty as a firefighter specifically for its stout tip. Used to carry a Mille but was always concerned about tip strength. Enduras have plenty of blade stock thickness for all but the most abusive twisting/prying forces. I just wis...

Mille (204p or Ti/CF s90v)
Gayle Bradley 1
Endura (SG2)
I like and use larger knives most. IMO a PM2 is a "small" knife :)

Re: Pacific Salt vs Pacific Salt 2 - differences and similarities
Great overview emanuel!
Thanks for the great pics and observations!
I have several Pac1's so don't really need a Pac2 but am an Endura4 fan as well so who knows?

Re: Hollow Grinds
Count me in on favoring a high hollow grind. I've been carrying and using a Sebenza a lot lately and continue to be more and more impressed with what a great performing knife it is! Personally I'm kind of tired of FFG. If I had to choose one pocket knife it would be a high hollow. TkoK39SPY, IME the...

Re: What "others" are in the mail?
Thanks guys. $450 is way more than I've ever spent on a knife, but since I selling off about half my Spyderco knives this past month, I had a fair bit of ready money available and decided to take the plunge. I like the simplicity and timelessness of the Sebenza and Chris Reeve's design philosophy. ...

Thanks to Spyderco for sending the Maxamet, Rex45 and the Spy27. Spyderco was very nice and surfaced the decarb off on the Maxamet and Rex45 HUG...

Was patient with BHQ's slow site as I expected it to be so. Managed to snag one of each as I'm undecided which one will become the user.
Will pass on whichever doesn't.

Thanks Larrin!
This latest article supports something I've always suspected; that m390 and its analogs are not as tough as claimed.

DITTO! Although a stainless (semi-stainless) super steel would be super appreciated. A Straight Spine Stretch in Cruwear or m390 could be my everything knife!
