I have got to get one of these! I don't have one now, but I actually kinda like the look of the clip. Now thats two I gotta buy... Caly3 and Lava! Also, when I found this thread I, of course, had to check out the Spyderco Details page on this baby, and I noticed that when you enlarge the picture, th...

Seriously, the Lava is an addictive knife. It cuts like a knife 3 times its size and is really comfortable to use in just about any grip. Does anybody have any good "real life" pictures of the lava they can post? Thinking about buying this knife, and would like to see a few pictures other than the Spyderco Product Details Pic. Thanks!

Wow, through some miracle I got my full-size Manix in the Mail today. I ordered it yesterday, standard shipping. Talk about near-instant gratification... I LOVE this knife. Obviously, I've had it only a few hours, so I haven't yet been able to field test it or really even carry it, but it is AWESOME...

The Ultimate Knife

So here's a question I'm really looking forward to getting responses from. I think everybody can benefit from this. I know that when I am looking to buy a new knife, I want one that appeals to me, but I also tend to go for one that I have read good reviews for/ heard good things about from other peo...

#1 - Lock-Back #2 - Liner Lock with Lake & Walker system #3 - Liner Lock #4 - Axis Lock My personal #1 lock choice is a lock-back. I've never had one fail on me, and I can still close it with either hand, one-handed (at least as far as Spyderco knives go). I own several knives, and by far, the o...

Fixed Blade Carry

Hey All, I've been trying to find the perfect fixed blade knife. My main criteria is the sheath that it comes with. Looking specifically for horizontal belt carry on your back (does that make sense?). I'm open to a wide variety of knife styles, as long as the sheath is well-designed for horizontal c...

Thanks to the warm welcome and to all who offered advice.... Talked with a rep from Spyderco W&R today who told me they would gladly take care of the problem with the unstable lock. Only problem is, they said it would take about one month to get the knife back to me due to "high demand"...

Millie Lock Problem/ Asking for Advice

Hi All, I just recently realized there was such thing as a Spyderco forum; so I am new here. I own several different Spyderco models, and love them all dearly. However, I have owned my Military for about two years and have never carried it. It is the older style which is enscribed with the word &quo...
