I had a similar issue with my SE blades in the same spot. Sharpened them out and kept going just like you.

I used a mousepad and some double sided tape a mounted it to the top of the case. So when I sharpen I just take the stone out, close the case up and set the stone on top that will give you about 2 1/2 inches of clearance between your sharpening surface and the table

Mora is my most used blades. I don't think Spyderco could offer anything to Mora. Low priced/fare quality knives. I bought 5 Mora's about 3 months ago for $41. ( 2 for me and one for each of my 3 sons.). I guess it's hard to compare mora and spyderco because they are 2 different knives all together.

I think the southfork would replace any good fixed blade if your willing to spend the money. I just sold all my fixed blades a replaced them with a $9 Mora 546 and a $13 mora robust. Between the two knives I've been able to do 100% of my camp/hunting/fishing duties. So in the end, the Southfork woul...

9mm is a great round but hard to find around here at least. I just bought a S&W shield .40 for CCW a few weeks ago. Was going to go with 9mm but change my mind because I haven't been able to find 9mm target loads very well for the last 2 years.

Agreed. The best way to maintain a convex is a strop. To sharpen I use sandpaper over a mousepad.

I'm going to consider that what I do is a microbevel by using a kitchen steel. Basically just keeping edge uniform. But I'm sure steeling over time forms a microbevel.
