I'd prefer a "better" blade steel for the money than an upgraded handle. That's just me though. ;)
I agree. That's a lot of bucks for a less-than-supersteel blade steel. And, your photo is outstanding.

Just for some perspective, a Hinderer XM18 just sold for $875 in 13 minutes (I guess it was a deal?) Ken I just have to assume that I'll never know the answer to this one. I have a very nice 0550 ZT (Hinderer design) that's worth about $200 new. My CRK Umnumzaan is around $400 and couldn't be nicer...

That would leave more S90v for me. Hurrah!

I buy most of my knives from forum members, but I've purchased quite a few from commercial vendors and I've never had a bad experience.
Perhaps I was lucky. Check out their return conditions before you buy!

Yeah, I did that to my gentleman's folder, when I tried to use a paper wheel to sharpen. It's terrible, the scratches, and I never did get it sharp. Finally sent it in for Service, and they did a good job. The scratches are still there, of course. I never see 'em anymore.

I have a few of PM2's and Millies, mostly in supersteels. I look at 'em; need to start carrying one.
Normally, I just carry my BM 690, all scratched-up old thingie.

I'm looking forward to this one more and more. I hope it arrives while the estival leaves are still a similar deep, rich green. Before the leaves change to autumnal shades. Golden yellows, oranges and browns, to match the handles of other Spydercos that will be carried through the crisp days of the...

The price is too high, of course, but the seller has 100% positive feedback for 125 transactions. He may have taken it out of the box for pix and then put it back in the box. I would advertise that as "ANIB, just out of box for pictures." I have no desire to cheat anyone, and wouldn't adve...

I’m not going to mention how solid the lockup is with absolutely no blade play AND when you release the lock the blade swings smoothly and freely. That’s a given for a great knife so I don’t see any need to say it. So I’m not going to say it has a solid lockup with no blade play. Jack ...just like ...

My favorite is S90V. It will last quite a while, since I can't bring myself to even take it out of the box. I use knives with 20CP and M390, and understand that they are nearly the equal of S90v, but S90v is that holy Grail, ya know. And then, my expensive knives use S30V and S35VN. Go figure. Nice ...
