God those are beautiful! Thanks for sharing! I feel very lucky to have a white endura but I'm not sure there is a price I wouldn't pay for a white Delica. I saw I white dragonfly sell for $200 on ebay recently buy it now. Sold in less than 2 hours from listing time. Those white ones are SUPER rare

I'd imagine anything that will be released in s100v will be a sprint run of lower numbers. I wouldn't mind seeing a mule in s100v. But otherwise I could picture a para2 sprint, manix 2 sprint, maybe even a caly 3 sprint using that steel. I wonder how the cost of cpm s110v compares to the cost of ZDP...

Here is a quote from my employee handbook. You can see how vague it is... and this is the only mention of the issue of guns/weapons anywhere in our HR department. "Weapons-Free Environment Methodist strives to provide a safe working environment free from risk of violence with firearms and weapo...

Hi guys, I just gave my wife a Meerkat, she's a nurse in a hospital, can she carry it in her pocket? We are in TX. Hey there, This is an awesome question. I also live in Texas and I am a registered nurse working directly with patients. I am overly cautious with bringing knives to work, not because ...

Yeah, I submitted a far less compressed version today. I hope this doesn't confuse them, but I'm sure it wont. I just want to make sure they have the best quality image for print. I'd rather submit a fully uncompressed DNG or RAW file but Jpeg will have to do. Congrats again to everyone!

Try a bit higher JPEG compression in the software that you're using. I got mine at 3648x2736 - sharpened - with JPEG at quality High '8' in Photoshop to a 1.6MB file. I can spot minimal differences with the original but I'll doubt that will be visible in print. I did that and it worked Ted. Thank y...

I've been thinking about it... cheating I mean. Spyderco is my company as I have sold almost every other brand knife I own besides my Ontario Rat One and a few fixed blades. CRK offer something different from spyderco, not necessarily more... but different. I am finding it hard to part with $400 for...

Nice catch..... didn't even think about bringing this up. If he didn't coat the face of the tang, and he etched long enough, it could have removed enough material to cause the extra lock advancement. The pivot hole is also an area to be concerned with when etching. Nope that tang face, and p...

Already tried that. It is the same. I even swapped it with a stop pin from my other tenacious and the lock was the same. Good thought though!

I wouldn't worry about it given the lack of play. I also wouldn't guarantee it against failure and neither would Spyderco. Then again, I guess there aren't any real guarantees in life anyways :) . The Tenacious line of knives are sturdy workhorses. For ultimate in lock security I would look to some...

Have you taken it apart? The Warranty & Repairs department is the only place that can see if its Spyderco approved to factory specs. The liner lock position, IMO, is more a guideline than rule. Yes, this knife has been disassembled more times than I can count which rules out spyderco warranty. ...

Frostbyte, Before you reprofile every knife you can get your hands on ( :) ) take a breath. :) I believe Roodie's post is accurate but also I doubt if he goes crazy with the coarser stones when the goal is just a sharp knife. He is talking about the ultimate results that he may only want on "s...

This is great and quite the opposite of what I have heard. I always heard to avoid using the lower grit stones because they take off a lot more metal than do the higher grits. I generally try to avoid the lower grits because of this but it appears as though I may be working against myself. Great and...

Tenacious (liner lock) late lock up... how late is too late?

Hey guys, My spyderco tenacious in blue has been my #1 work horse for quite some time now and I have begun noticing that the lock up is getting later and later. First of all, how late is too late and when does it become dangerous to use? Also, is there a way to fix this? excuse my ignorance but does...

May I ask you and the ladies ages? Just to get a better idea of who we're shopping for. Congrats on five years. We're just about to two, and we haven't killed each other yet, so I have high hopes for a couple more. We are both 30 years old. I like the idea of making her something or the leather jou...
