Re: If you could pick one discontinued knife to turn into a sprint..

I’d love to see the mini Persian given the same treatment as the Kiwi & Kopa series.

Re: 2018 ... catching up!

Funny the Civilian was the last thing I expected to follow me home, but once I looked over the blade in person, a few moths flew out of my wallet .This is a very impressive blade up close, Not to mention that it feels just like a Millie in hand too,. I love my serrated blades and this as good as the...

2018 ... catching up!

This Is what happens when you stop buying knives. Up until this year the last Spyderco I purchased was a Millie M390 in 2012. I had a change in career and no longer had a real use for high performing work knives, I convieniently told myself I was boycotting Spyderco until The PM 2 was released fully...

Re: C-60 Ayoob model: It's Way Past Time For An Upgrade

An upgrade ? I don’t know... all the last sprint needed was serrations and I would have bought one.

.. however if a full flat grind se blade ever happened I’d probably wet my pants!

Re: changes in blade thought across the years

Since I was a kid I've always had a pocket knife of some form or another in my pocket, back then I owned one SAK and tinkered with the old man's IXL's. Jump foward a few years.. About ten years ago, I'd seen to way too many accidents with box cutter/ craft knifes and started looking at safer options...

Military evolution & cqi etc..

Hi All, I been away from the forums for some time ( the last Spydie I bought was a few years back, the CF Millie M390). Now, I see that there are few things that have changed with the Millie's since then, can anybody point me in the direction of a thread here which details these improvements. Cheers J

JD.
If less is more, then just imagine how much more "more" is! ( I think that's a Frasier quote) ... and that's why I like my SE Millies.

Re: Please No...

Thanks Guy's. After going through the tool boxes and my desks at work, all hope was lost. I turned up home last night went through the house again feeling very blue.... started thinking I actually cannot remember using this knife in past two weeks ( had been using my D2 Para's and M390 Millie mostly...

Re: Spyderedge HOF or Serration Nation?

Hey JD , I’ve been away from the forums for a few years. Anyway for some reason my interest has peaked in blades again... I stumbled across a C44 dyad online a couple of weeks back and immediately thought of you. The last knife I bought was the Millie M390. How many years ago was that.? About the sa...

It's been a long time since I've posted here, but I need a sympathetic ear. It seems that I might have lost my long time EDC, my faithful Ti M4 Millie. The last time I felt like this bad was when my dog died. I've turned the house upside down twice, been through the cars, the jeans, the bags, the su...

A Return to planet Spydie....

Okay my last purchase was a couple of years back, the Millie CF M390, and I pretty much dropped off planet Earth not after that. So tell me now what goodies have I missed out on?? Did we ever get to see a serrated Para 2? And what "tool steel" sprint's are in the mix?

At least you've learn't what doesn't work for you. I abandoned my SE Native long ago, Hollow ground SE blades have never really suited my needs. Trust me though with it's FFG the SE Millie is an entirely different beast. When kept sharp and with good slicing technique there's really no stopping this...

I'll throw in my 2 cents... Chipping has and always will be a pet peeve of mine. I've no safe safe queens, my relatively small collection of knives are working tools. I do use my knives hard, and have had jobs in the past where I've been doing 1000+ cuts a day. I've encountered some types of card bo...

I reported that to the trademe team 4 days ago, no reply :/. He has also blatantly lied to me too (jellabie) Keep it up! I've religiously reported the fakes on TM, about 50% of time the listing gets removed. Not so long ago there was one idiot peddling fake BM42's and Microtech's, once TM was infor...
