Re: Am I the only one?

I always wonder though, how many of these posts we see of "I broke my tip AND IT'S NOT MY FAULT",...if they were flicking it and it flew out of their hand. It would be the "cool" way to do it, but also the most likely for a flying knife incident! Oh, and I am guilty of having fun...

Re: Am I the only one?

If your Lil' Native or other compression lock spydercos can free fall and swing when you compress the lock, it helps. If the pivot is too tight it restricts the flick. Other than that it might just be hand/finger dexterity. Practice makes perfect!

Re: Happy with the Diversity.

Although ignorance is bliss! I used to not think about it or even know about it. I look back on some of the knives I used to carry and I don't know how I even used them! This was before I knew anything about different steels, different grinds and edges and how to sharpen my tools. Of course this eve...

Re: Sal, why is the Delica grinded so thick behind the edge ?

Try a Chaparral, very thin blade, very nice slicer...

I know...not part of the question at hand, but I think others have said it already...Delica made for the average joe. If you want a slicer, look for that. And the awesome thing about Spyderco is you have many options out there, and that is great!

Wow, this is interesting. I’d be in, especially being in Germany. Would like to stay on the right side of things and still be able to carry. Thanks for the many options and new possibilities!

Re: Actual users

My Chaparral LW has won out pocket time lately for weekdays at the office and most Sundays as well. But weekend work I still pick up my Para3 and Lil' Native.

Re: changes in blade thought across the years

I have always been in love with knives... My first that I purchased with my own hard earned cash was a Pacific Cutlery Bali-Song. That was in the late 80's or early 90's. I still have it and will never get rid of it, it was more for just playing around with and it stayed at home. My user pocket knif...
