Thanks for the tips about the chinese fakes. I'm gonna go check the shop on Monday and post pics if I buy it. I just read some things about the knife and it's going to be interesting to see which steel I end up with seeing as how it was made with 440v and s30v on different years. I also had a questi...

Should I buy a Gunting for this price?
Hi all, a local gun shop has a NIB Gunting for $125 and I was wondering if that's a good price. I'd like to add it to my collection, but I just need some reassurances concerning the price. Thanks ahead of time.

The flagship should be either an Endura/Delica or the Native. They're the most common and probably the most recognized among the general knife community. As far as the whole jungle scenario goes, I'd take a Rock Salt if I had a hatchet and saw, or a Forester if it was my only tool. http://spyderco.c...

My Preferences: 1st: Massad Ayoob, The angle makes this one a winner for me 2nd: Yojimbo, a little smaller, but very effective 3rd: Chinook, Nice in reverse grip, but quite heavy Or if you are totally unskilled in knife fighting techniques, the Civilian/Matriarch design is a great choice for basic S...

I'd buy two if it ever came back. I'm surprised there's not more interest in this knife. I hadn't heard of this knife until a couple of years ago and it was short run that many on this forum may not have heard of it. Maybe people need pictures and some knife info to get interested. Sal, please bring...

I bought one from the same place several months ago. I think you'll be surprised how the G10 feels, it's not rough like the military, but the grip is still good. The handle shape is very comfortable, you can use it for a long time without getting fatigued. As far as slicing goes, it performs great, ...
