I'd suggest a Delica or Endura ... Not so expensive that you might mind using them as they are intended to be used .. And then giving it the sharpening it deserves .. :spyder: Over and over ....

I've heard of scrapple but don't know what it is. My impression is that it is some sort of Pennsylvania Dutch fry up. How do you make it? I bet you don't serve it with grits! :D You're right EarthDog. No grits this morning, although I grew up on them in Louisiana. Scrapple comes in a small sealed l...

Breakfast Of Champions ...

I've got the picture of health cooking on the stove even as we speak. Scrapple with bacon blended in. It smells good, it's going to taste good, but it likely isn't very good for the ole cholesterol count. Never heard of or ate Scrapple until I came to the Northeast 15 years ago. I have to admit that...

I also have the same thing with my notebook, but only since a month. Haven't changed anything, so I really don't know what it is? Hi Tom. Interesting that you've encountered a similar issue. Well, keep us posted if you figure it out. It's interesting that in my case it's isolated to the Spydie foru...

Thanks for the input Paul, figured it might be on my end. I'm running MS Explorer 7.0 and a couple of the standard security programs. I've got a sneaking suspicion that it's related to one of the security programs.

You might want to open up your computer and make sure you have room for 4 sticks of 512. If memory serves, I've seen some computers that only have two slots for RAM sticks.

Sypdie Forum Site Requires Login Everytime?

Just curious as it's not a big deal, but I do have to login into the Spyderco Forums site everytime I visit even though I check the little box at login requesting that the site remember my ID. This isn't happening with any of the other Forums I visit regularly. Anyone else encountering this? Any fix...

Yeah, I understand the value argument, but what I'm really curious about is quality. Is SnapOn still the quality leader? I think so. I also think that Matco, Mac, S&K and other selected companies make good pro-line tools as well. Consumer oriented tools (like Craftsman) just aren't in the same ...

I'm fairly certain that's the way it works since the paperwork is between the individual collector and Spyderco.

Is there really a special numbered Kopa collector designation? How does Spyderco administer that program given that the first 200 numbers are already assigned to the main piece and all variations collectors.

For the money, you can't beat the deal offered by Surefire for a box of their branded batteries. That's all I've been using for the last couple of years.

I've landed my share of Spyderbites and other knife cuts .. When it happens, I normally hope for less damage than the pain suggests. The deep cuts from a sharp knife are the wounds I dread. I've had two or three really bad ones over the years. :o

Thought I'd bump this one up to the top given the now rock bottom Vagabond prices at Sierra Trading Post (I paid $9.58 apiece delivered with the extra 20% discount / free shipping described in another recent thread). Somebody else questioned whether or not it might be collectible down the road now t...
