Manix 2 G-10, no question in my mind at all. It's sturdier and easier to grip with cold fingers or gloves. The extra couple ounces may offend the ultralite types but it's worth it.

I think the value folders get overlooked. The efficient looks perfect to put to work without worrying about dinging up. FFG SE linerless G-10 and larger than a Harpy.

I love mine. Been nearly 100% of my EDC since I got it about 6 months ago. I find it way more useful than my Harpy for general carry.

The only change I would make is to make it FFG instead of hollow ground. I'm not even sure how hard that is to do but it would be awesome.

Layaway is I think just a scheme to help salesman close the deal on things you don't need so that you don't change your mind while saving up the money. Full serrated is very practical. I mostly carry serrated and very rarely run into a task it isn't suited for. It takes a small investment to get set up to sharpen it but it isn't hard to sharpen. The Tenacious is a good knife. If it had better steel it would be a lot more popular here. Big FFG liner lock no-choil with G10 handles AND it comes in SE. What more do you want?
