I just re-bought a Sage 1 that I got rid of about a year ago. Now I'm thinking about re-buying the Caly 3 before there all gone.

I'd love to see either a compression lock or an axis lock on the Sage 3.

I definitely prefer the knife with a box. It simply makes selling the knife much easier when you get tired of it.

Thanks for the videos ! The D-fly 2 and Stretch 2 are a must on my list. I too hope that the D-fly will come with jimping and a slightly larger spyder hole.

My ultimate Spydie would be my Para right now. It'll probably change when the Lil' Temp 2 comes out. :)

That 710 sure looks great with the green handles. I wish Spyderco would make more handles with the green G-10 like the Lil' Temps.

I used to think the same way about black blades, but have started to like them lately. I agree with David that a worn in blade and clip gives the knife character, especially an EDC user. In fact my last two purchases have had black blades.

The Rookie would definitely be a smaller and lighter carry, but I would not recommend it for any hard use. The Caly 3 would probably be your best bet as an EDC. It has an excellent blade shape and has the wire clip for low carry.

I've been carrying the FG Rookie for a couple of months now. It's a lot smaller than I expected, but it does sit very comfortably in the pockets. I really like the blade to handle ratio on this knife. The knife is a little out dated and could use some thumb jimping. Overall, it's a nice little EDC k...

For me, the Sage is very easy to open one handed. If you like the Caly 3, then you'll love the Sage. The action is smooth and the liner lock is solid. I'm planning on getting the Persian next so I hope you're wrong about the opening.
