I think the key here is to wipe the blade "as soon as" the job is over with anything soft -- cloth, shirt, t-shirt, tissue, chamois. The blade generally comes pretty clean.

My buddy is getting married and I'm standing up in his wedding. I'm thinking of getting him a knife. He is a Ranger in the Army. I'm not sure what to get him. I was thinking of something to get engraved. If I do get it engraved what should I put on it? Date? Initials of him and his bride? Just not ...

Sorry to hear about this. The best advice I got and would like to pass on is to get good insurance and a car you won't give a **** about! There's enough to worry about in life without worrying about something as trivial as a car. I'm not judging...I've been there. I used to have a classic, '77 ford...

Okay, so finally I have upped my budget (also that my b'day is close, so could convince wife ;) ), and got these: Native III CE, Delica 4 PE, and Byrd Robin. This is my first Spyderco purchase, and hence wanted to check out even Byrd brand too. All from knifecenter, and my friend has agreed to get t...

I think you goal may be unrealistic. You have to look at it from the seller's perspective. All dealers pay about the same for the knives the sell. Those who discount heavily need to keep expenses at a minimum in order to make a profit. International orders are considerably more time consuming to pr...

None of the places I'd recommend buying from are going to make the limit of $55 shipped. Most have prices on that model of over $60. Also, as a point of information, open soliciting of buy/sell/trade offers is frowned upon. My sincere apologies -- should have understood the forum workings better be...

Best deal on Spyderco Native plain-edge (C41PBK)

Hello All, This is my first post, so an introduction is in order: I am from India, a software security engineer by profession, and have recently ventured into the knife and flashlight world. I own a Leatherman e33l and a Fenix $10 knife that I got from 4sevens.com, and also a couple of Fenix, Olight...
