Jurphass - you posted the following: "CF Walkers go for $500. and complete Evolution sets (Damascus and original Workers) go for $1000.= these days. " If you can sell a CF Walker for $200 USD, you would be lucky to get it. If you can sell a complete Evolution set for $250, you would be luc...

dynarider and JSmith - Ebay is very simple. Either you bid the highest price, or it goes to someone else. If you think that last second "snipering" automated or no is not in the spirit of an auction, you should reconsider participating in this type of auction. Proxy bidding means you shoul...

I guess this means that if you live long enough (41 years) you will eventually win SOMETHING!

What a great first win. Thanks Joyce and Spyderco for the opportunity. I was looking forward to picking one of these up anyway.

swede - I have quite a bit of experience in custom knives at this point. I would argue that custom knives are a lot like productions knives - they "depreciate" very fast once you have bought them. There are exceptions of course. If you are lucky, a custom will simply hold its value (today'...

The ARC LS is very small. A comparable package, the E1E with LED conversion head is a bit longer and IMO, make quite a difference in terms of ease of handling. That said, I prefer the lanyard ring on the ARC to the clip "divot" on the Surefire. I happen to prefer the appearance of the Sure...

The Kopa is the bigger version of the Kiwi! Yea!!

It is rumored (by Jurphaas) to have a micarta and cocobolo body. No other specs that I saw.

Clip is set up on opposite site of the compression lock side. However, with the cobra hood and the handle design, it is a pretty ambidextrous design.

Fixed blades no matter how big or small, if carried on your person, must be visible at all times, even when you are wearing a coat.

Don't know a thing about gun laws.

Go for the Queen knives. As stated, much better QC than Case, hands down.

If you are dead set on Case, go with their carbon steel versions. Tru-Sharp Steel is NOT for knife enthusiasts.

In general, on "humped" designs, I think 13mm is the minimum I find comfortable. 14mm is better. However, on "scale cutout" designs, a 9 or 10 mm hole actually works. If you look at a Tom Mayo TNT, you will see he makes a very deep scale cut-out for his thumb-slot design and it i...

Here is a Spydie or two. I am not yet showing my recently received Anni Delica. Also, my Commemorative Worker was out on duty at the time.

Also missing a few "in-process" knives.

The Snap-It works best on land when it is clipped to something above waist height, like a vest or coat. It is very easy to reach. If you want to clip to a belt loop, the Remote Release is a better idea.

Also works great as a diving knife just about anywhere on the body.

The ATR will be far too expensive to become the representative knife of Spyderco. IMHO, that is why the Endura/Delica knives are so well received, inexpensive, high-performance for the majority of users. Even then, the Endura is almost twice the price of a Buck 110 - which is many people's definitio...
