Re: Radioactive’s 2.5K Post GAW!
I too have to jump in and play since you picked my favorite EDC model. The thing about this forum I find most appealing is the way everyone jumps in to help with their knowledge. Ask a question, go away read other posts, then turn back and find that someone has provided an answer. Most always try to...

Re: Spyderedged/ Full SE Recurve? WHY NOT??
Funny you mention the SpyKer. I had mine out earlier today really just fondling it. I love that knife and in re-curve it mat loose a bit of beauty though gain a toothy bite. I'm a LBK guy so the Zulu or even better the Captain with serrations would be great. Either one you could have the tip for det...

Re: Starting over?
This topic has been on my mind for the last couple of years. I've been amassing my collection for years and have a real interest in the early year Spydercos. I still read the forum at least once a day, jump through the BF exchange site a couple of times a week, and scan Ebay for the collectors I sti...

I have to throw Ed Schempp in this mix. His Persians as well as his other ethnic knives are always top notch.

Re: Spyderco Memorabilia
I too have too much memorabilia. I have a couple of the games, pins, holes, spyder cutouts that had been labeled and given at the Spyderco annual dinners, catalogs, decals, spyder bags, spyder packs, and mouse pad. I need to get through that stuff again to see what else I might have. I use the game ...

Hey all, Michael has a video on his site that shows knife in hand. Here:

Re: The Vrango folder
Hi Michael, I'm glad you are here. I too enjoy that the collaborator jumps into the fray. I jumped to your website and see that you fly fish. I've been enjoying the sport for years and continue to find that as I get older my interests continue to move toward things that take things that age takes aw...

Re: Examples of CQI
A couple of CQI I can quickly think of include:
1.) 3 screws per clip rather than the two at onset.
2.) Lock retaining pin addition on c35 2nd generation. I think the scale change was for ease of molding the frn and to thin the knife.

Re: Post your first (and a little story about mine)
I started with a Spyderco sharpener back in 1986. My first knife of theirs was the Meerkat when I took a trip to the Spyderco Outlet in 2004. They were clearing out old inventory and when one of the sales people put that knife in my hand everything felt right and the lock mechanism fascinated me. Fr...
