Good: Great blade shape, better cutting power than any knife I've tried. Bad: Too **** big! There is a whole lot of unnecessary handle space, making carry and handling uncomfortable; the blade could be fit into a more compact handle. Agreed. There are plenty of other Spydies if you want a smaller h...

Thanks for the heads up. I was stoked for the CTS-B75P Manix 2. Though I 'll dare to say this will be way better for the tan G-10 ;) , so I put my order in.
The Manix 2 FFG M4 looks like it is going to be a winner. Anyone have an idea if it will be in the park with the M4 millie?

I am left handed too. Although I don't have a true left handed knife, I am intrigued by the idea of a knife that should work and feel natural to open and close. That being said I have lockbacks, a manix2, and a sage1 which I can operate without any problem. Some things I can work well right handed l...

What he said...I totally support a business such as Syderco who know their product well and stand behind it. I did not know of Spyderco until fall last year when I lost my CRKT M-16 knife and needed to buy another one ;) . After alot of researching andknife comparisons, I now own a CF Sage, FRN Stre...

Hi, Welcome. This steel chart seems like a good one that I use, comprehensive as in steels from most makers (imho, I have no clue how many there are) has origin info and it's searchable. see here. It is more of a technical chart since it focuses the composition and not really describe it in paragrap...

Hello, I'm new to posting on the forum and buying spyderco knives. My first Spydie was a Sage I then a stretch 2. My next purchase could be a Paramilitary 2 or a manix 2 with CTS-XHP. Does anyone know if there will be more runs with cts-xhp on the manix 2 or other spydies? I feel like I missed a gre...

The new FRN translucent scales for the lightweight Manix 2 sound like a good fit for H-1 steel were they incorporated in a Manix 2 run. They are linerless and can be made in any color. :) If it happens I'm getting one.
